How to maintain the sewage pump?

Replace the sealing ring: after long-term use in sewage medium, the gap between impeller and sealing ring may increase, resulting in the decrease of pump flow and efficiency. Turn off the switch, lift the pump, remove the bottom cover, remove the sealing ring, and match the sealing ring according to the actual size of the impeller mouth ring. The gap is generally about 0.5 mm.

When the submersible sewage pump is not used for a long time, it should be cleaned and hung in a ventilated and dry place, and pay attention to antifreeze. If placed in water, run it for at least 30 minutes every 15 days (dry grinding is not allowed) to check its function and adaptability.

Check the cable at least once a year. If it is damaged, please replace it.

Check the motor insulation and fastening screws at least once a year. If the motor insulation drops, please find someone to repair it. If the fastening screws are loose, please tighten them again.

The submersible sewage pump has been injected with proper amount of engine oil to lubricate the mechanical seal before leaving the factory, and the engine oil should be checked once a year. If water is found in the engine oil, drain the water, replace the engine oil, replace the gasket and tighten the plug. After three weeks, it must be re-examined. If the oil is emulsified again, check the mechanical seal and replace it if necessary.

After the operation of submersible sewage pump fails, please remove it according to the given troubleshooting methods. If it still can't be solved and the reason can't be determined, don't dismantle and repair it without permission, and find someone to repair it immediately.
