Ancient Bridge

The Ganhe River is one of the three major water systems in Xianning. Starting from the southern foot of Damu Mountain, it passes through the deep history, crosses valleys, streams, and mountains and fields. , singing happily all the way, leaping thousands of miles. There are more than 50 bridges across the riverbed, including 8 ancient covered bridges. There are Taoping Bridge (covered bridge), Gaosheng Bridge (covered bridge), Baisha Bridge (covered bridge), Liujiaqiao (covered bridge) built in the Ming Dynasty, Baiquan Bridge and Wanshou Bridge (covered bridge) built in the Qing Dynasty, and the Republic of China The Yufeng Bridge and Zhujia Bridge were built.

Liujiaqiao Covered Bridge

This is an ancient brick and wood covered bridge. The broken stone slab ancient post station is connected in front of the bridge. It is said that in ancient times, it could lead to Hankou; in the past, this was the link between Tongshan and Jiangxi. The only way to pass through Xianning and Hankou, the ancient covered bridge, which used to be bustling with traffic and bustling, has experienced more than 400 years of ups and downs.

Wanshou Bridge

It is located on the Baisha River between Wanshouqiao Village and Shigushan Village, Guihua Town, Xian'an District, about 13 kilometers away from Xianning City. Wanshou Bridge is a three-hole stone arch bridge. It is said to have a history of more than 200 years. The water under the bridge flows from Liujia Bridge and Baisha Bridge.

Baisha Bridge

It can be said that half holding the pipa and half covering the face, the image of this bridge cannot be seen at all from a car. Baisha Bridge is located between Wanshou Bridge and Liujia Bridge. Like Wanshou Bridge, it is a stone arch bridge (three arches). On the side of the road, it's hard to see her unless you look carefully. In this way, you only know Liujiaqiao.

Xian'an Official Port Covered Bridge

It was built in the late Ming Dynasty. In ancient times, river engineering was the main focus, and this river leads directly to the Yangtze River, making it very convenient for boating. Therefore, most of the products coming in and out of Xianning were gathered here, and merchants gathered here. It is also one of the many docks commonly known as "Little Hankou" in southern Hubei. Moreover, dignitaries and poets traveling to and from Xianning also boarded boats and landed here, so it was named "Guanbu Bridge".

Tingsi Bridge

There are 6 bridges in Tingsi Bridge Town***: the old railway bridge, the new railway bridge, the Wanghui Bridge, the old railway station and the new highway bridge, and the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway Quankou connection line viaduct bridge and stone arch bridge. Among them: the two railway bridges are the most important, the 20-meter elevated highway is the highest, and the stone arch bridge with the longest history and richest cultural heritage is the Tingsi Bridge. Longtan Ancient Bridge
