How to maintain hotel stainless steel products?

Stainless steel products in hotels, especially stainless steel tableware in kitchens, are prone to electrochemical or chemical reactions on the exposed metal surfaces in corrosive environments, leading to corrosion. In the passivation film on the surface of stainless steel, pitting reaction is formed due to self-excited reaction, resulting in pores, which together with chloride ions form a strong corrosive solution to accelerate the corrosion reaction. Stainless steel and intergranular corrosion cracks are passive films that destroy the surface of stainless steel. Therefore, the stainless steel surface must be cleaned and maintained regularly to maintain its gorgeous surface and prolong its service life. When cleaning the stainless steel surface, pay attention to avoid scratching the surface, and avoid using bleaching ingredients and abrasive cleaning solutions, steel balls, abrasives, etc. To remove the cleaning solution, please rinse the surface with clean water at the end of cleaning.

1. If there is dust on the surface of stainless steel, the dirt can be easily removed and can be cleaned with soap, weak detergent or warm water.

2. The trademarks and films on the surface of stainless steel should be cleaned with warm water and weak detergent, and the adhesive components should be scrubbed with alcohol or organic solvent (ether, benzene).

3. Grease, oil and lubricating oil pollution on the surface of stainless steel shall be wiped clean with a soft cloth, and then cleaned with neutral detergent or ammonia solution or special detergent.

4. When bleach and various acids adhere to the surface of stainless steel, immediately rinse with water, then soak in ammonia water solution or neutral soda solution, and then clean with neutral detergent or warm water.

5. There are rainbow lines on the surface of stainless steel, which is caused by excessive use of detergent or oil. When washing, you can wash it off with warm water neutral detergent.

6. Rust caused by dirt on the surface of stainless steel can be cleaned with 10% nitric acid or grinding cleaner, or with special cleaning drugs.

In order to better prevent corrosion, we must choose a good stainless steel material, such as 304 or 3 16 stainless steel products.
