Was "Glory of Parents" filmed in Xiamen?

The Glory of Father was not filmed in Xiamen, but in Yunnan and other places. Based on the novel of the same name by writer Lu Yao, the play tells the story of a group of rural youths who joined the army during the Cultural Revolution and eventually became excellent army company members after hardships.
