Ji 'an, formerly known as Luling and Jizhou, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China (PRC), located in the middle of Jiangxi Province. The middle reaches of the Ganjiang River connect Hunan in the west, central Luo Xiao in the south, and the rich Ji Tai Plain. It is one of the earliest ancient county towns in Jiangxi and one of the birthplaces of Jiangxi culture.

The terrain of Ji 'an City is mainly mountainous and hilly, surrounded by mountains on the east, south and west. The network of streams, rivers and water systems in China is like a vein, and the Ganjiang River runs through it from south to north, cutting Ji 'an into two parts. The development of history

As early as the Neolithic Age more than 5,000 years ago, there were already human activities here. During the Xia and Shang Dynasties, it belonged to the southwest of Yangzhou, one of the Kyushu in the Central Plains. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it belonged to Wu, Yue and Chu successively.
