What should I do if my 7 Days Inn points are frozen?
Seven Days Hotel Chain recently launched an activity, which is to recommend members and get points. Every time a recommended member successfully registers, he will get 100 points. When the points reach 5,000, he can use 5,000 points to exchange for a self-made large bed. Room for one night for free. Some people think this is a business opportunity. When someone opens a store on Taobao, as long as the member gives their membership card number and password to the Taobao seller, and then pays, the Taobao seller will help the member recommend members for seven days to earn points. But after seven days, they refused to acknowledge the account, and without telling us, they froze and cleared the points in our membership card. The reason was that "the recommended person complained that the membership information was stolen, and the referral bonus points were frozen." Then we arrived We complained to Qidian.com and they said our points were frozen because they were obtained through abnormal channels (but some of the members we recommended successfully registered and received recommended points). Today, we called the customer service staff and they said the information we provided was false and inconsistent. . And we asked them to provide evidence, but it took seven days to produce it. Seven-day membership registration requires personal confirmation via mobile phone. It can't be stolen so easily. They simply don't want us to redeem the room, because we won't earn a penny for seven days. Even if selling points on Taobao is an abnormal method, it is because Seven Days' improper marketing methods have allowed people to take advantage of the loopholes. This responsibility should not be borne by consumers!
Some members who have successfully redeemed their points for a room (but after the redemption, we received a text message that the room will be reserved for the whole night and will not be automatically canceled), are usually booked close to the date of their stay. They informed that the order was canceled and the points were frozen (this is completely contradictory to their promise), but the originally redeemed room would be retained for 24 hours for seven days. As long as the member prepaid the room at the original price within 24 hours, the room would still belong to the member. It is now during the Shanghai World Expo and it is summer vacation. Many people are traveling and it is difficult to book a hotel, so I have no choice but to pay for another seven days. Isn't this a one-off incident? The seven-day member complaint area has been filled with almost all such complaints in the past two days? How can we poor 7-day members safeguard our rights?
I have consulted 12315 on this issue, and the advice given to me is: if they cannot produce evidence within 7 days, they should fulfill their promise and file a complaint with 12315, the industrial and commercial bureau where 7 Days is located. Please kindly help us poor consumers.
