First, the status quo of modern hotel safety management
Hotel safety management involves the environmental safety inside and outside the hotel, the personal and property safety of all employees in hotel departments, the property and food safety of hotel guests, etc. It can be said that hotel safety management is the basic guarantee for the normal operation of a hotel, and how to do a good job in safety management is a problem worthy of discussion by hotel managers. Through investigation, the author found that some hotels do not attach importance to safety management, but blindly emphasize the hotel's operating income and ignore the investment in hotel safety management, rarely conduct safety education courses for employees, and even fail to establish a perfect system in safety management. The specific questions are as follows.
(A) safety education is not in place
Some hotels are small in scale, so the management of hotels is mainly family management. The only requirement for employees is that they have basic etiquette and service quality. For example, chefs only require that their cooking skills meet certain standards or that they can cook certain cuisines, but they do not require safety awareness and the ability to handle safety accidents, so some minor safety accidents are prone to occur. For employees' job requirements, behaviors such as smoking, using fire and electricity are not strictly managed, which is likely to cause fire hazards.

Although some hotels have employee safety manuals and fire protection settings, they have not established a perfect fire emergency mechanism and prevention mechanism, and neglected the establishment of fire prevention and control mechanism because of their emphasis on fire hardware settings. Some hotels purchase a large number of fire extinguishers, make safe passages, install fire alarms, hotel fire hoses, etc. , in order to meet the safety standards of the administrative department for industry and commerce.

Every hotel should set up a safe passage when it is established, but the management of safe passages in some hotels is not in place. Some hotels regard the safe passage as an employee passage instead of setting up another safe passage. Moreover, the signs of safe passage in some hotels are not obvious.

Secondly, without handover procedures, the personnel on duty shall not leave their posts without authorization. When equipment failure is found, it should be reported in time and the relevant departments should be notified to repair it in time. Do not use the telephone inside the fire center unless it is necessary for work, and the personnel on duty in the fire center are prohibited from entering the duty room; Smoking, sleeping, reading newspapers, etc. are not allowed in the fire center during working hours, and handover procedures should be handled when leaving the post; When a fire is found, it should be dealt with urgently according to the fire-fighting plan, and call 1 19 to inform the public security fire department and report to the department head.
(5) Maintenance and management system of fire control facilities and equipment

Set up a full-time administrator to check and understand the operation of fire-fighting equipment on time every day, check the operation records, listen to the opinions of the personnel on duty, arrange maintenance in time if any abnormality is found, and keep the equipment in good technical condition.
Secondly, fire-fighting facilities and fire-fighting equipment should be tested regularly. Thirdly, in the management of fire fighting equipment, fire extinguishers are inspected regularly and replaced twice a year during winter defense and summer defense; Designate a special person to manage and inspect the fire fighting equipment regularly to ensure that it is in good condition; Fire-fighting equipment should be checked frequently, and it should be supplemented immediately and reported to the leader if it is lost or damaged. Secondly, before the fire hazards are eliminated, all departments should implement the preventive measures to ensure fire safety during the rectification of hidden dangers, put forward solutions to major fire hazards that cannot be solved, report to the person in charge of fire safety of the unit in time, and report to the superior competent department or the local government. Third, the fire hazards ordered by the public security fire control institutions to be corrected within a time limit should be corrected within a time limit, and a reply for rectification of hidden dangers should be written and submitted to the public security fire control institutions.
In addition, it is also possible to establish a fire electricity safety management system, a voluntary fire brigade organization management system, and at the same time establish a fire fighting and emergency evacuation plan drill system, a gas and electrical equipment inspection management system, and a fire safety work assessment and reward and punishment system. Especially in fire fighting and emergency, emergency plans can be established for group prevention and control.
