Qiandao Lake in Qinghai, the island combination is like a million ships going out to sea.

Before traveling to Qinghai, many people yearn for the vast Gobi and towering snow-capped mountains in the northwest and want to feel the sublimity and vastness there. However, when they arrive in Qinghai, they often marvel at the patchwork of lakes there. The vast Qinghai Lake, the magnificent Emerald Lake and the tea cards all over the sky are even more shocking and unforgettable.

Water Ya Dan, also known as Wusu Water Ya Dan, is unique in the world. It is located in the northwest of Qaidam Basin in Qinghai Province. After thousands of years of geological movements and changes in time and space, the largest and most spectacular Ya Dan community in the world has been bred and formed, covering an area of more than 20,000 square kilometers, of which Wusu River and Ya Dan are the most essential part.

To be exact, Wusu Te Ya Dan belongs to the Ya Dan school of the Southern Eight Immortals. The height of Ya Dan mounds in this area is generally between 10 and 25m, and the highest is about 50m. Ya Dan, with various forms and lakes all over it, is the only aquatic Ya Dan landscape found in the world.

Ya Dan on the water is easy to find, just next to the famous online celebrity highway -3 15 (Xining, Qinghai to Turgat, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang), not far from the famous U-shaped highway, Dongtai Jiner Lake and Xitai Jiner Lake, so you can go shopping together.

We were able to go to Ya Dan in the water when we were collecting wind at Golmud's "Three Rivers Source, Mysterious Kunlun". It's almost 4 hours' drive from Golmud city, and the most convenient thing is to drive or rent a car. When our car passed the U-shaped online celebrity highway along the 3 15 national highway, the scenery on both sides of the road gradually fluctuated from the endless Gobi Desert, and some dilapidated hills appeared in front of us.

At first, it was scattered mounds. Going forward, these mounds of different shapes are getting denser and denser, and then they are in groups. Although it is barren and barren, and there is no other color except mud yellow, it has been turned into a magnificent geological spectacle by the ingenious work of nature, which is the unique Ya Dan landform group in Qaidam Basin.

After entering Ya Dan from the water, taking the scenic spot sightseeing bus will take us to several fixed scenic spots. Because of the long journey (8 hours' drive back to Golmud), we went directly to the most essential part, raised the drone at the fastest speed and took aerial photos of the unique natural wonders of the day.

Seen from the flat ground, these mounds standing in the lake have different shapes. They are like castles, camels, tigers and leopards, running, sitting and lying, with three images and seven imaginations. The more you look at them, the more you look at them. Here, we can imagine as much as we want. As if with the active thought, these mounds standing on the lake were given life by us and immediately became alive.

Appreciating on the drone, the Ya Dan on the water becomes more stereoscopic, and each mound is an island. Looking around, there are many islands, which are more beautiful than Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang. Besides, these islands seem to be developing in the same direction. After careful study, they are like thousands of ships at sea and Ma Benteng, which is really amazing.

What shocked us most was the green lake in Usute. Seen from a distance, it looks like an emerald embedded in a desert barren hill. You know, in this vast Gobi, a bay of clear water suddenly appeared, which made people doubt that they were deceived and gave people a very unreal feeling. The lakes in Usute have different shades and colors. Some places are dark blue, others are light blue. From the air, it even looks like a scenic spot on an island in Southeast Asia, so that friends in the same industry nicknamed it the Maldives Qinghai Branch.
