What if I don't know Korean and travel to Korea?

I've been there, and I'm sure you don't need it! !

I am traveling by myself in Seoul. A subway map of Seoul and a Korean sentence "How much is it" guarantee that you can travel to South Korea without Korean.

Here is a passage of my own free travel guide to South Korea, which I hope will help you.

in terms of transportation, after arriving at the Korean airport, you can take the bus to the city, take the airport high-speed train to the subway in Korea, or take a taxi.

It is suggested that there are two things you can do when you arrive at the airport:

First, if you stay for a long time and want to contact your family, you can borrow a mobile phone from the counter at the airport. China's mobile phone can't be used in Korea, and there is a special mobile phone borrowing counter at the Korean airport, but you need to pay by credit card, which is quite convenient anyway.

Second, you must go to the airport counter to get the map, and you'd better get a Japanese map. The subway route map on the Japanese map is bigger and clearer. Remember, when traveling in Seoul, the subway is the most important means of travel, and you can't play without it. I remember that the map was placed at the leftmost exit in the direction of the airport, which seems to be gate 2. I don't remember the details. Look for it yourself.

then how to get to the city, as mentioned above, is by bus, high-speed train or taxi. When I went, I took the airport high-speed train, so I can buy a ticket first. Is the high-speed train one stop or two stops? Anyway, I took the last stop, from Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport, and then changed to the subway. By the way, when I got into the airport high-speed train, I bought a transportation card at a convenience store. Remember to buy a transportation card and recharge it. Because South Korea travels by subway, it is very inconvenient without a transportation card, and some subway stations with a little distance do not have manual ticket sales. I went for four days and three nights and spent more than 2, won on transportation expenses. You can charge a little at the convenience store first, and then find a convenience store to recharge it. The card can be returned, but it will take 1 days, so I suggest you charge as much as you want.

I didn't take the bus, so I don't know. Every subway station in Korea has numbers, so don't be afraid of not knowing the name of the station, and don't be afraid of taking the wrong direction or passing the station. Another tip, the subway station in Korea is dug very deep. If you want to transfer to the subway line, be prepared to climb the mountain. No one can eat in the subway, and don't sit in the old, weak and sick seats, because there is no one in Korea except the elderly!

I think the price of taxis is similar to that of Shanghai, but I don't know how much it is different from that of your home. Taxis in Korea are divided into three colors, white, silver and black, and black is the best. Korea is called a model taxi, but I asked my friends in Korea what the difference is, and my friends told me that it is the difference in price. The starting fee of black and the price per kilometer are much more expensive than white and silver. It is not recommended that you choose the black one unless you take or ride to the far suburbs in the middle of the night.

In terms of changing money:

I suggest you change two or three hundred dollars at the Bank of China first, which is enough for your fare when you get to Korea. The main money is still exchanged in Korea, which is called two exchange houses, which are available in many places. The exchange rate of scenic spots is not too high. I suggest you ask more about two houses, which one has a high exchange rate, and there should be a guide on the Internet saying which one has a high exchange rate. When I went there, I met a two-way exchange on my way to Nanshan Tower. The exchange rate was quite high.

Accommodation:

I don't think it's necessary to book a hotel or something. There are private hotels on many small roads in the city, which are cheap and good. The security in Korea is quite good. I don't think you need to worry. You can check this yourself online. But I suggest you book a hotel in the city. I booked it in the suburbs last time, and the time spent in the subway alone is huge every day.

Shopping:

Girls love shopping. Korean cosmetics are extremely cheap, so they mainly go to Myeongdong cosmetics. Every store has China people, so they are not afraid of bad communication. My suggestion is to sell more paper masks, which are super cheap. You can do it yourself for other things, which are cheap anyway, whether it's skin care products or cosmetics. I can't remember the brand at once. If you have any questions, please call me again.

As for the scenic spots, I haven't visited almost all the scenic spots in Korean history, so I don't recommend them, but Nanshan Tower, Myeongdong, Cheonggyecheon and Lotte World are strongly recommended.

There is a lover's wall and a teddy bear house on the Nanshan Tower, but they open at ten o'clock, so don't go early. However, the cable car ride to Nanshan Tower is steep, so be prepared to climb the mountain.

Myeongdong is a must-see place for Korean fashion shopping.

Lotte is the largest amusement park in Korea, which is very interesting, and here is the skating rink that often appears in Korean dramas. Lotte suggests that you go in the evening. It seems that there is a half-price discount for tickets after 7: 3 and a float parade. After buying tickets, except for 3-5 very exciting sports, you need to buy tickets, and others can be played directly with tickets, such as pirate ships. And the night lights inside are beautiful at night. It is suggested that Lotte should play all day, but I think it is enough to go at night unless you want to play an extra big event. In addition, the paid items are very exciting, but there are also many people waiting in line.

Qingxichuan is suitable for going at night, with beautiful lights. Sitting by the stream is romantic and suitable for couples.

ps: There are South Gate and North Gate for shopping. South Gate is a specialty. I don't think there is anything to buy, except ginseng kimchi and seaweed citron tea, which are mixed with good and bad. If you want to buy, you should choose carefully. People there will pay a high price because you are a foreigner. Buying clothes at the North Gate is very late, and it is open all night. Those who want to buy clothes can go and have a look.

Diet:

I have nothing to recommend in this respect. Korean food is very spicy and seafood is fishy. My friend once ordered ginseng chicken soup in a shop in Myeongdong. As soon as it came up, there was a whole black-bone chicken in a bowl as big as a washbasin, and the chicken was stuffed with a lot of glutinous rice, so it was exhausted. But most of them are normal. You must eat Korean barbecue when you arrive in Korea. I remember there is a street near Qingxichuan where there are many restaurants at night.

Finally, a few tips:

1. Koreans like nightlife. After 12 o'clock in the evening, the streets are brightly lit and there are many people. We once went to eat barbecue, but it was after 11 o'clock, and it was extremely lively there.

2. You don't have to get up too early during the day. Many scenic spots and shopping streets are open after 1: , and no one goes early.

3. There are no handsome boys and beautiful girls in the street during the day. It depends on the advice of handsome boys and beautiful girls to go out at night.

4. If you want to go to Korea, you must know it, that is, "How much is it?"!

5. It's beautiful near Ewha Women's University. Things are fashionable, but it's a little expensive.

6. Coffee shops and doughnut shops in South Korea are also very cheap, so you can eat them, but most of them have to close their own dishes and put them in the designated places in the shops.

7. There is no counterfeit money in Korea, so you can exchange it with confidence.

8. There are few thieves in Korea. When I went to a coffee shop, I saw many people put their bags directly on the chairs to buy things.

9. The department stores in Korea are visited by old women. There are almost no young girls in the restaurants in the department stores, and there are no price tags on the items!
