Vancouver Island University undergraduate application requirements:
1. Graduated from high school or currently studying in the third year of high school (usually 1.5 months before the start of school, submit completed transcripts/graduation certificates in Chinese and English originals or notarized copies ).
2. Transcripts from the first year to the third year of high school (to date). The following are the minimum application requirements (corresponding to high schools in mainland China):
(1) Liberal arts: average score of not less than 65%.
(2) Business: The average score is not less than 65% and the math 12 is not less than 65%.
(3) Science: The average score is no less than 65% and the score of physics, chemistry and biology is no less than 70%, and the average score of Mathematics 12 is no less than 75%.
(4) Hotel Management: The average score is no less than 65% and Mathematics 11 is no less than 70%.
(5) A 100-300 word statement of intention letter must be submitted at the same time.
(6) Tourism management: the average score is not less than 65%.
(7) Graphic design/interior design: The average score is not less than 65%, and the work needs to be submitted at the same time.
3. Language requirements
(1) IELTS: 6.0 (5.5 or above in each individual item).
(2) TOEFL paper: 550 (no less than 56 in each section).
(3) TOEFL computer-based test (CBT): 213.
(4) TOEFL Internet-based test: 80 (no less than 19 in each section).
(5) Canadian Academic English Assessment (CAEL): 60 points.
(6) PTE Academic: 54, with no less than 51 in each individual component.
(7) Cambridge Certificate of English Proficiency: (minimum "B").
(8) Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English: (minimum "B").
(9) Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Score 4 or higher.
