What do TP, TV, TO, TK, TG, TF, TN and TD mean in electrical installation?
TO TP TD explanation in weak current drawings: TP stands for telephone, TD stands for network, and TO stands for data. This data has a wide meaning, which can be either telephone or network, and can be used for integrated wiring. Especially in the demanding integrated wiring, Class 3 cables are rarely used for telephone laying, while voice data and network data are laid with super Class 5 network cables, with two super Class 5 interfaces and one Class 6 interface. Here TO stands for six types of network data ports.
TO: information (i.e. network and/or voice) TP: voice TD: data (i.e. network)
