Main uses of artificial stone

Artificial stone is made of unsaturated polyester resin as binder, natural marble or calcite, dolomite, silica sand, glass powder and other inorganic powder, as well as a proper amount of flame retardant, color, etc., through mixing ingredients, porcelain casting, vibration compression, extrusion and other methods to form and cure. It has been greatly improved in moisture resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and patchwork. Compared with natural stone, artificial stone has the advantages of bright color, high smoothness, uniform color, compression and wear resistance, good toughness, compact structure, firmness and durability, light specific gravity, non-water absorption, corrosion resistance and weathering, small color difference, colorfastness and low radioactivity.

The natural nature of artificial stone is obviously insufficient, so it is often used in places with high practical requirements such as cabinets, and less exaggerated for window sills and floors. At the same time, it has the upper hand of comprehensive utilization of resources, plays an important role in environmental protection and energy saving, and is also a veritable green building material product. It has become the preferred decorative material for modern architecture.
