My thoughts on the island-style tour of the Summer Palace in Southern China

A journey across the sea, visit the Summer Palace of Southern China on the 24th day (January 8)

In the central and southern part of Hainan Province, a city in the mountains is named after the mountains. Known as the Emerald Mountain City, it is Wuzhishan City.

The mountains block the tropical airflow from the south and the cold current from the north, making the city warm in winter and cool in summer, and the air is moist but not humid. The forest releases a large amount of negative oxygen ions, creating a natural health atmosphere in Wuzhishan City. My parents visited many cities in Hainan Province and finally chose to stay here for their retirement, becoming a standard migratory bird family. They have spent eight winters in Wuzhi Mountain. Every time friends and relatives come to visit, they will take everyone to visit the Southern Summer Palace. This time, the friends and family naturally recommend visiting the Southern Summer Palace.

Nanguo Summer Palace is six or seven kilometers away from the urban area of ??Wuzhishan. Take bus No. 1 from the urban area to Feicui Valley. After getting off, follow the winding mountain road (Gangong Road) all the way up until you reach the end in a triangle. Set among the sea of ??plum blossoms, you can see the gate of the Southern Summer Palace.

I still remember the first time I came here with my parents. At that time, we were walking along the mountain road from Emerald Valley. The Southern Summer Palace had not yet been completely built and there was no admission fee. Now it has been acquired by a Nanjing company, and the original building has been transformed into a chain hotel called Yunlou Hotel. There is no entrance fee for hotel guests, but the entrance fee for visitors is 30 yuan per person or vehicle.

Entering the gate, you will see scenery everywhere, surrounded by green mountains, dense trees, birds singing and flowers fragrant. The flowers are bright, the trees are tall, the grass is lush, and the air is filled with a relaxing atmosphere, which will open your heart in an instant.

Perhaps this is due to the negative oxygen ions. The negative oxygen ion content here is several times that of ordinary cities, making it a veritable big oxygen bar.

We were attracted by the carved beams and painted buildings of Yunlou Hotel, and strolled into it to visit. An exquisite small garden is surrounded by the corridors of the hotel rooms, so that every room can see the scenery when going out. When entering the room, the antique decoration gives people a sense of calm, and every balcony has a landscape garden. I heard that many national leaders, celebrities and artists have lived here, which is a perfect place for both health care and creation. Such a beautiful environment and the blessing of negative oxygen ions will definitely make talents think.

There are also hotel apartments for migratory elderly people to rent all year round. The price is about 6,000 yuan per person per month, including three meals a day. In terms of living conditions and natural environment, there is nothing critical. For me, a short-term stay is okay and I can concentrate on writing for a while. However, if I stay there permanently, I will inevitably feel a little deserted and lonely.

Continuing along the main road, there are several beautiful buildings with cornices that are very eye-catching. The red and yellow colors are bright. Judging from the colorful paint and various signs, the buildings are already idle. A simple sticker on the exterior wall of one building is marked as "Celebrity Villa", saying that it was built in 1956, converted into an entertainment venue in 1986, and only for viewing in 2006. It is said that this was once the palace of Lin Biao, who lived here at that time. Looking at the extraordinary eaves, I imagine the grand scene here once was, but now it can only be used as a background for people to take photos.

The mountains and rivers are still there, the prosperity of the past is vague, and things have changed and people have changed.

Several elderly people have poor legs and feet and walk very slowly. The Taipingshan Waterfall and Reservoir require walking on mountain roads, so they are naturally discouraged. My mother is the youngest among the elderly, in the best health, and likes to take pictures the most. She organized everyone to take photos, designed various actions, and even changed costumes with her mother-in-law. Everyone had a great time.

Thinking about it, I have been to Wuzhishan a lot, and to Nangong Summer Palace three or four times, but never once did I go along the mountain road to see the reservoir on the top of the mountain. I always accompanied the old people, My long legs have also become lazy. Eliminate your own factors, think carefully, and think about it carefully. If you are close to red, you will be red, if you are close to ink, you will be black. If you are always with the elderly, not only your legs and feet will grow old, but your heart will inevitably grow old. It is really difficult to always maintain a childlike innocence and joyful heart like my mother. I am still far behind.

At the end of the day's tour, my friend's family drove from Wuzhishan to Sanya and contacted us about where to stay. We would also go to Sanya to stay for a while the next day.
