In fact, the Buddhist culture in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province is also very precipitated, and the Buddhist attractions in Shaoxing are also very classic, but they are not well known to everyone and are often ignored by tourists who come to Shaoxing.

Daxianglindou is located in Ke Qiao, Shaoxing, which leads to the Heavenly Palace. It is such a scenic spot that is often overlooked. According to a friend, the Shaoxing municipal government invested 2.8 billion yuan to build this scenic spot, so I am curious about what is shocking about this scenic spot.

The scenic spot is about 60 kilometers away from Hangzhou and 30 kilometers away from Shaoxing. I start from Shangyu and drive for about an hour. After arriving at the tourist center, we found that Daxianglin scenic spot actually includes three scenic spots, one is Daxianglin leisure tourist area, the other is Longhua Temple, and the other is Doulv Tiangong.

According to the service staff, the main scenery of Daxianglin Leisure Tourism Zone is a thousand-year-old osmanthus king. In the season of sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance, the fragrance floats all over the scenic spot, which is also the reason why Daxianglin is named "Xiang". April is not the best time to see osmanthus, so we chose Longhua Temple and Doulv Tiangong directly.

These two scenic spots are located on two peaks of Huiji Mountain. There are actually two ways up the mountain. One is to take the bus in the scenic spot, and the cost is one way 15 yuan. The other is hiking up the mountain. It is said that the trail is the best way to experience the suffering and happiness of practitioners, so I chose the latter with the idea of experience and walked up the mountain.

In fact, the hiking route is very smooth, and it is hardly difficult for us young people. We walked along the stream and climbed up the bamboo path gradually, and the fresh air was very comfortable all the way. It takes about half an hour to reach the gate of Longhua Temple, the first stop.

Brief introduction of Longhua temple

Longhua Temple, built on the mountain, consists of the mountain gate, the Heavenly King Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Sleeping Buddha Hall and Longhua Pavilion. Compared with other large temples, Longhua Temple is similar in scale, structure and temple composition, but it still gives me many special feelings. First of all, I was deeply impressed by the majestic atmosphere. It is said that it was built according to the level of the royal temple. For example, its mountain gate is very special. Many mountain gates have only one or three gates, and the gate of Longhua Temple is built according to the five-gate regulations of the royal temple, which symbolizes the meaning of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, which is rare in other places.

Another deep impression that Longhua Temple gave me was that its Hall of Heroes was also built in accordance with the royal regulations and looked very magnificent. It should be the biggest hall of great heroes I have ever seen in my memory. The two lions in front of the hall are also very chic. It is said that it is a one-on-one imitation of Taihe lion in the Supreme Harmony Hall of the Forbidden City, which is lifelike. Next to the two lions, there is a flourishing Millennium Ginkgo biloba, which is said to have been transplanted from the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Doulv Sky Scenic Area is located in Huiji Mountain Range, Shaoxing, Zhejiang, with a planned area of 1.300 mu, a central axis of 2,500 meters and a construction area of nearly 65,438+10,000 square meters. It consists of two buildings: Doulv Tiangong (pure land in heaven) and Longhua Temple in Huiji Mountain (pure land on earth). Doulv Tiangong is located at Ramremont Peak (elevation 32 1 m), the highest peak in the northwest of Huiji Mountain, and is separated from Longhua Temple by the "sea" (perfume sea).

Behind the Temple of Heaven is an open-air statue of the heavenly king, which can be heard in the north. There are Dharma statues and stone statues discussing Taoism in Dharma Cave. With a width of 99 meters, a length of160m and a height of 8 1 m (the lotus top is 399m above sea level and has a building area of 60,000m2, which is a landmark building in Shaoxing and even in Zhejiang.

"Heaven" is the fourth heaven in the Buddhist world view, which means to have fun with heaven and fill the sky. It is the most unique pure land in the world of desire. Great virtues, the eminent monks of past dynasties, yearned for the pure land of their Buddhist countries, such as Tang Xuanzang and Master Taixu. Among them, the inner courtyard of the Heavenly Palace is the place where the future Buddha Maitreya and Bodhisattva are said to be in harmony with nature.

According to Buddhist scriptures, more than 2,500 years ago, Sakyamuni took a six-toothed white elephant out of his pocket and came to our women's world. Maitreya Bodhisattva will also come to the world after its human karma matures, transform Sakyamuni's disciples, and purify our five evil worlds into Maitreya's pure land.

Longhua Temple and Doulv Tiangong are located on two connected peaks respectively, standing in front of Longhua Pavilion, the highest point of Longhua Temple, and the opposite Doulv Tiangong has a panoramic view.

And there is a release pool between them, called perfume sea. This release pool is the largest one I have ever seen, and its water area is larger than a football field. There are 24 stone statues of filial piety figures in China around the release pool. The first one is Xiaogan Tiandi in Yushun, Shangyu, Shaoxing, which is very impressive.

Along the hiking trail, we came to Doulv Tiangong. When I boarded the Shanmen Square, I felt that the Tang Priest and his disciples had arrived at Lingshan. It is said that it is the fourth heaven in the world of desire in the Buddhist cosmology, in which the inner court of Tiangong is the place where the future Buddha Maitreya and Bodhisattva are said to be heaven and man.

Known as the pure land in heaven, Doulv Tiangong has a very strange architecture, and its architectural style is completely different from other temples. From bottom to top, it consists of three parts: the seven-fold treasure wall of the base, the inside of the Heavenly Palace and the lotus treasure top. It is said that it is 8 1 m high, 99 m wide and 60 m long. From a distance, it is very grand and feels like a different White House.

Every detail of the heavenly palace is amazing. For example, the periphery of Qibao wall is surrounded by white marble railings. It is said that it is more than 5000 meters long, and the Buddhist relief around it is also very artistic and amazing.

The Maitreya Buddha statue in the Heavenly Palace is said to be 33 meters high. It is the largest indoor sitting Buddha in the world, and its interior is also magnificent. It is said that there are as many as 48 petals of purple lotus on the top of the Tiangong, which is also the highest in the world.

It is said that the most peculiar place in the Heavenly Palace is that you can't enjoy it until evening. Colorful changing lights make people enter an illusory dream. Unfortunately, I didn't see it, so I had to do it again.

What is the connection between Longhua Temple and Doulv Tiangong?

Huiji Mountain is the birthplace of Maitreya belief in China. Zhi Dun, a monk of Jin Dynasty, founded Maitreya Temple here, which is the predecessor of Longhua Temple. Here is the first Maitreya Buddha in China. In the Tang Dynasty, Longhua Temple in Huijishan was given a plaque by the court and became a model of Maitreya belief. Indeed, historical precipitation is still very heavy.

The overall impression of this scenic spot is that although many buildings lack some sense of historical age, they are very contemporary, magnificent, royal and second to none in artistic attainments.

Tracing back to its historical origin, in fact, the cultural precipitation is still very deep, but it is not reflected in architecture.
