A promising king-Liu Fuling.
In the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty, the "Salt and Iron Conference" was held to discuss the concept of "Salt and Iron Official Camp" in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. After the meeting, the Regulations on Liquor Monopoly was abolished. In the first year of Yuanfeng, Sang Hongyang and Shangguan Jie were killed for treason and monopolized Huo Guang, further reforming the policy of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, eliminating incompetent officials and reducing taxes. Due to proper internal and external measures, the state of national decline and people's livelihood in the later period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was basically reversed, and "the people were satisfied and the foreign countries served four times" was realized.
The curse of witchcraft, the controversy of storage
Liu Fuling is the youngest son of Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and the son of Mrs. Gou Jian. In the third year, Mrs Gou Yi gave birth to Liu Fuling. According to legend, both Yao and He in ancient times were born when they were fourteen months old, so the palace gate where Mrs. Cheng Goujian lived was called "Yaomu Gate".
In the second year of conscription, a famous "witchcraft disaster" occurred. Wei Zifu and Liu Yuxin were framed by Jiang Chong and others, unable to explain, so they rose up to defend themselves and finally committed suicide. Therefore, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty did not establish a queen and a prince for many years.
Several other sons of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty peeped at the throne, and the third son Liu Dan wrote a letter asking him to be a prince. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was furious, beheaded Liu Dan's envoy and deprived him of his three county fiefs. Other sons also failed to live up to expectations. As a successor, Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty was very dissatisfied.
Emperor Wu entrusted orphans, assisted by Huo Guang.
In three or four years, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty thought that Liu Fuling, who was only five or six years old, was strong and smart, much like himself when he was young, so he especially loved Liu Fuling and had high hopes for him. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ordered the court painter to draw a portrait of the Duke of Zhou as a king, and gave it to Huo Guang, a captain in the car, suggesting that his ministers pass it on to his youngest son, Liu Fuling. In order to prevent the occurrence of Lv Hou's autocratic regime, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent a death present to Liu Fuling's biological mother, Mrs. Gou Jian.
On February 12, 2002, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was seriously ill, and Liu Fuling, who was only eight years old, was appointed as the Crown Prince. On February 13th, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent a letter to courtiers, entrusting orphans to Huo Guang, Jin Ridi, Sang Hongyang and Shangguan Jie.
On February 14, 2002, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty died of illness. On February 25th, Liu Fuling ascended the throne for Zhao Han. My sister, Princess Yiyi, was named princess royal and stayed in the palace. According to the testamentary edict of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, General Huo Guang was in charge of the affairs of ministers, and General Jin Ridi and General Zuo Shangguan Jie were Huo Guang's deputies.
Pursuing power and interests, turning enemies into enemies.
In the first year of Shiyuan, Jin Ridi, who assisted Liu Fuling for just over a year, died, and all the political power fell into the hands of Huo Guang. Huo Guang is married to Shangguan Jie, who is also the assistant minister. Shangguan Jie's son Shangguan married Huo's daughter and gave birth to a daughter Shangguan Shi. The two families are married and closely related. Whenever Huo Guang goes on holiday, Shangguan Jie will take his place in handling state affairs.
In the fourth year of Han Dynasty, Zhao Di was twelve years old. The mayor and princess of Hubei chose the queen, and Shangguan 'an intended to let his six-year-old daughter Shangguan Shi enter the harem, which was opposed by Huo Guang. Shangguan 'an had a good relationship with princess royal's lover Ding. Finally, he successfully achieved his goal through princess royal, making his daughter Shangguan Shi the queen, while he was promoted to be a cycling general and named Sang Lehou. In order to repay princess royal, Hubei Province, the Shangguan family wanted an outsider to be a liehou, which was rejected by Huo Guang as "nothing to do", and Huo Guang had repeatedly prevented other relatives of the Shangguan family from becoming officials, so the two sides became political enemies.
Sang Hongyang, an ancient imperial doctor, relied on merit. Huo Guang refused to seek an official position for his relatives, and their political views were seriously at odds, so Sang Hongyang held a grudge against Huo Guang. Liu Dan, the brother of Emperor Zhao of Han Dynasty, bears a grudge because he was not made queen, so these political forces temporarily united in an attempt to kill Huo Guang and abolish Liu Fuling.
To usurp the throne and seek the country has ulterior motives.
In the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty, Shangguan Jie, Liu Dan, Yan Wang and others stepped up preparations for the coup. Liu Dan, the prince of Yan, gambled on Shangguan Jie to seize the throne. In order to support him to seize the throne, he sent more than ten people to bribe princess royal, Shangguan Jie, Sang Hongyang and others with a lot of gold, silver and jewels.
They followed the trick of "removing the monarch's side" and made people write to Zhao Di in the name of Liu Dan, the prince of Yan. It is fabricated that Huo Guang is deploying troops near Kyoto, and the road has been closed. Huo Guang called Su Wu, who had been detained by Xiongnu for nineteen years, back to Beijing, hoping to use the power of Xiongnu. Huo Guang mobilized troops without authorization, in order to overthrow Emperor Zhao, and he was ready to proclaim himself emperor. He also claimed that Liu Dan, the prince of Yan, wanted to stay in North Korea in order to prevent treacherous court officials from making trouble.
A discerning person knows traitors, but does not accept slander.
At that time, all the letters in the system had to go through Huo Guang before they could be reported to Emperor Zhao Han, so Shangguan Jie took advantage of Huo Guang's vacation and took a bath to submit the letters to Emperor Zhao Han. He wanted to approve the matter through Emperor Zhao Han, and then he announced Huo Guang's indictment according to the contents of the letter. Sang Hongyang organized his courtier to coerce Emperor Zhao Han to abdicate.
I didn't expect this imperial edict to reach Zhao Han, but it was ignored by Zhao Han. The next morning, Huo Guang already knew about Shangguan Jie's move, and stood in the studio where The Duke of Zhou and the Map of Wang Fucheng were presented by Liang Wudi. Instead of going to court, he asked Zhao Han to show his attitude. When Zhao Han saw that there was no Huo Guang in the imperial court, he asked the courtiers. Shangguan Jie took the opportunity to answer, because the prince denounced his crimes, and he was afraid to go to court.
The monarch and the minister are loyal to each other and complement each other.
Emperor Zhao Han summoned the general Huo Guang into the palace, and Huo Guang took the initiative to take off the crown of the general and kowtowed and blamed himself. Zhao Di, Emperor Gaozu, said: "The general wears a crown, and I also know that the letter is slander and the general is innocent." Huo Guang said, "How does your Majesty know?"
Emperor Han Zhaodi said, "The general went to Guangming Pavilion to recruit Langguan for deployment. If we want to mobilize troops, it will take less than ten days. How did Prince Liu Danyuan know when he was away from home? Besides, if you really want to overthrow me, there is no need to make such a big noise. "
The conspiracy of Shangguan Jie and others was exposed by 14-year-old Zhao Han, and all the ministers present marveled that Emperor Zhao Han was so clever and decisive, and Huo Guang's auxiliary position was further consolidated.
Since then, Shangguan Jie and others have been slandering Huo Guang. Emperor Gaozu Zhao Di was furious and said, "General Huo Guang is a loyal minister. The first emperor asked him to help me. Whoever dares to slander him will be punished according to his sin? " Since then, Shangguan Jie and others dare not say anything, so Zhao Han and Huo Guang have become closer and more alienated from Shangguan Jie and others.
To quell chaos and maintain stability, the law is merciless.
In September of the first year of Yuanfeng, after the conspiracy of Shangguan Jie and others was exposed, they were ready to launch an armed coup. They planned to invite Huo Guang to a banquet in princess royal, and ordered the soldiers in ambush to kill Huo Guang and abolish Zhao Han. Princess royal's rice field emissary in Hubei, Yancang, learned of their plot and reported it to the old farmer Yang Chang. Yang Chang turned to the admonition officer Du Yannian, so Zhao Han Emperor Huo Guang mastered the plan of Shangguan Jie and others to launch an armed coup.
Before the coup, Shangguan Jie, Sang Hongyang and other mastermind ministers were all arrested and their families were ruined. Princess royal and Liu Dan, the prince of Yan, knew that they could not be pardoned and committed suicide one after another. The nine-year-old Shangguan Queen was not deposed because she was young and Huo Guang's granddaughter.
Huo Guang is in charge and Fuling is in charge of the country.
After putting down the civil strife, Huo Guang gained the full trust of Zhao Han. Not only did Huo Guangquan fall into the ruling and opposition, but his son Huo Yu and his grandnephew Huo Yun were officials of the corps commander Gong. Huo Yun's younger brother, Huoshan, was appointed as a captain in the car, and the two sons-in-law served as the guards of the East Palace and the West Palace respectively, holding the guards of the whole palace.
Huo Guang's cousins and relatives also held important positions in the imperial court, forming a huge power network that was intertwined and spread all over the Western Han Dynasty. At this point, Huo Guang has become the actual supreme ruler at that time. Thirteen years after Huo Guang's auxiliary administration, the Western Han Dynasty achieved the goal of "enriching the people and entertaining guests".
On April 17th, the first year of Xingping, Liu Fuling died in Weiyang Palace in Chang 'an, at the age of 21. On June 7th, he was buried in Xiao Zhao, posthumous title, Ping Ling.
