Fuzhou Langqi Island

You wrote Langqi wrong. I am from Langqi. If you want to visit Langqi, Langqi people very much welcome your arrival.

1) Route to the island:

1. Drive from Cangshan to Changle (or from Mawei on the Qingzhou Bridge to Changle), go to Houyu Island and cross the Langqi Bridge. Go right until Long Gu Resort. Based on the departure from Nanmendou, it takes 60-70 minutes to get to the resort, which is about 10 kilometers longer than the ferry route. The special feature of this route is guaranteed time. And when driving along the riverside in Changle, there are many small parks along the way, including the Diamond Legs Park. The scenery on the road is better. Another point to note when taking the Changle route is that taking an ordinary highway can save highway tolls and take about the same amount of time, but it has to pass through the city gate area and the traffic is chaotic. If it is evening or night, I suggest taking the expressway and paying the 10 yuan expressway fee. But feel free to drive. (Recommendation index: five stars)

2. Drive from Wuliting to Mawei, go in the direction of Lianjiang, and get to Dongqi Pier (between Tingjiang and Lianjiang Guantou), the drive is 30- 35 minutes, the ferry basically runs every 30 minutes (it will be faster on weekends, it is estimated to run every 20 minutes). The last ferry in the evening departs from Langqi at 21:00, and returns from Dongqi Pier at 21:15. After that, it is an overtime ferry. It seems to be 100 yuan per crossing), the journey is about 10 minutes, and the transfer fee for a car is 10 yuan/vehicle. The drive from the pier to the resort is approximately 20 minutes. The characteristic of this route is that the driver is not tired. You can take a rest when you reach the ferry, and when you see the river at the ferry, you feel like you are on vacation. However, new self-driving drivers should be careful when getting on the ferry, otherwise it is easy to slip or scratch the chassis. The total time is 70-85 minutes. It takes about the same time as option one. These two methods are the fastest and most convenient, but their economic index is not high. (Recommendation index: five stars)

Note: For self-driving friends, please note that there are no regular gasoline filling stations in Langqi (the No. 0 diesel filling station is at the end of Cuotou in the center of the town), but it is available at Langqi Bridge towards Tan. There is a Sinopec gas station about 2 kilometers in the head direction, which only offers No. 93 gasoline and No. 0 diesel (it closes after 21:00)

3. From Wuliting Langqi Bus Station (diagonally opposite to the Cancer Hospital ) Take the direct minibus to Langqi, which costs about 11 yuan per person. It goes directly to the center of Langqi Town and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. After arriving at the town center (please get off at the entrance of Fulong Restaurant), it costs about 3 yuan per person and takes 20 minutes to go from Mian to Longgu Resort. The total journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours and costs about 15 yuan. This solution is more trouble-free, convenient, fast and economical. (Recommendation index: four and a half stars)

4. Take bus 40 from Chating Park directly to Langqi Resort. The fare is estimated to be about 12 yuan. There are 4 flights a day (driving times are: 6:30, 9:00, 13:00, 15:00). This solution is more worry-free, convenient and economical. However, the speed is slow and you often get on and off the bus. It is estimated to take between 2 and 3 hours, and there are not many buses. It is recommended for those who are not in a hurry. (Recommendation index: four stars)

5. Take a Poussin taxi (black, with Fujian AT plate) outside the Langqi CMB station in Wuliting. It costs 10 yuan to go to Dongqi Pier and takes time. 35 minutes, very fast and economical. It's just that sometimes the driver has to make up for 4 passengers before leaving. If you are in a hurry, chartering a car is 50 yuan. After arriving at Dongqi, take a ferry or small ferry (if the waves are big, it will be bumpy and it is recommended not to take it if you get seasick). It leaves every 30 minutes. The transition fee is 2 yuan per person and the journey is 8-10 minutes. Then enter the island from the front, it costs 2 yuan per person to go to the town center, and 5 yuan to go to the resort (you can talk about 3 yuan if you are a student of Oriental College). There are also those who ride motorcycles. This is extremely unsafe and it is strongly recommended not to ride. I have a relative who fell and was injured while riding a motorcycle and the driver ran away. (Recommendation index: four stars)

6. From Nanyuan South Bus Station, Sanqiao Bus Station, Wuliting to any station along Gushan, take the minibus from Fuzhou to Lianjiang to Dongqi Wharf. The fare is 5-6 yuan, the speed is fast, and the train frequency is frequent. It runs every 5-10 minutes, which is convenient and fast. After arriving at Dongqi Pier, the plan to enter the island is the same as plan 5.

(Recommendation index: four stars)

7. Take bus No. 36 from Chating Park to Dongqi Wharf (terminal station). You can also get on the bus at stations along the line from Mindu to Gushan. The fare is about 6 yuan. The bus departs every 30 minutes, and the speed is relatively slow; after arriving at Dongqi Pier, the plan to enter the island is the same as plan 5. (Recommendation Index: Three Stars)

6. Take a boat to Langqi at the Taijiang Ferry Terminal. I don’t know if this route has been stopped now. Basically no one chooses this route. It is estimated that this route is about 1 time downstream. It takes half an hour to swim against the current, and about 2 and a half hours against the current. If you are not a foreign tourist who has swam across the Min River, you can take a one-day trip to the Min River along the way. (Recommendation index: one star)

(2) Accommodation:

High-end: The minimum price is 600 yuan for the Jinji Villa, with 5 rooms and 9 beds, including one double bed; In the second hall, you can play mahjong and billiards. There is also an open-air karaoke and swimming pool (extra charge). It is recommended to bring your own mahjong if possible. You can see the river and the sea. (It was open last year, but I don’t know how it will be this year)

Mid-range: Wangjiang Tower (next to the beach), the standard room used to be about 130, but now I don’t know how many dimensions there are. There are restaurants open in the peak season here, which is relatively Expensive; Huaming Tower (on a hill, with a swimming pool), Yihui Tower (on a hill, with a better view of the sea), the price is unclear, probably similar to Wangjiang Tower; and Haiwei Hotel (next door to Wangjiang Tower , next to Jinji Beach), the price is estimated to be about the same as Wangjiang Tower; Guoyuan Hotel is considered the best hotel in Langqi, but of course it is also expensive. I don’t know if it has been opened recently; there are also some private small villas, such as Jiangdong Tower, which are also open to the public. Open, price unclear.

Low-end: Just go back to town and stay at Bian Sheng or Jinrong Hotel, the standard room is about 100 yuan

No-end: buy a straw mat yourself, lie on the beach and watch Stars (I like this and have done it several times). You can also rent a tent by the river.

When I have time, I will add some travel itineraries and food specialties
