Types of BS certification

1. "Kite" logo certification or BS certification logo

"Kite logo" is a unique registered trademark of BSI, which can be applied by domestic and foreign manufacturers. Enterprises using this logo should not only meet the requirements of relevant BS standards, but also have a quality assurance system that conforms to BS-5790 (ISO9000 quality assurance model standard is also acceptable), and this system should be evaluated during the certification process.

2. Safety sign certification

Products using safety signs must meet the safety requirements of BS standards or other safety regulations. The application and approval methods are basically the same as the "kite" logo, which is also applicable to domestic and foreign enterprises.

At present, 130 products in more than 20 countries and regions use the above two marks. They are Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Rhodesia, South Africa, Liechtenstein and Hong Kong.

3. Enterprise quality assurance ability certification (factory evaluation and registration)

This system evaluates the quality assurance system of enterprises according to BS-5790 (or ISO9000 family), but it does not require products to adopt BS standard. By the end of September1,there were about 12000 enterprises registered by BSI.

4.4.BS9000/CECC and IECQ certification

This certification aims to evaluate the quality of electronic components. BS9000 is suitable for domestic use, CECC is suitable for most countries in Western Europe, and IECQ is suitable for international use. Its purpose is to improve the quality and reliability of electronic components and ensure the quality of electronic equipment.

5. Assessment and registration of inventory capacity

This evaluation system is to evaluate the warehouse inventory quality and management methods of wholesalers. Products with this mark show that the manufacturing, storage, packaging and processing of their goods have reached a high level.
