They are all lychees. Why are the prices different?
Litchi is peeling in the dream. Let's talk about the first issue: litchi column! Column! Column! Constantly update, continue to pay attention, and constantly replenish the brain.
In addition, leave a message about your favorite fruit, and we will launch next season's column based on your message results. Sure, just fruit. Don't say Australian lobster or Boston lobster. Guazai is poor and can't give you feedback after eating so many lobsters. So don't just leave a message silently, lobster.
Then let's get started!
The first producing area! This is very important! In China, litchi is mainly produced in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan (there is no ranking before and after, each with its own characteristics). If it's from other provinces, don't buy it unless it's particularly cheap. The following questions will be summarized in an article on how to distinguish the origin and variety, and each issue will also be introduced separately.
Today, let's analyze Zengcheng, a big producing area in Guangdong Province. I seem to hear the cheers of Zengcheng fruit farmers!
Zengcheng, the hometown of litchi, is famous at home and abroad for its variety, excellent quality, good taste and long history, especially "Zengcheng hangs green". How precious is it? More expensive than that Boston lobster. Some of them ate sky-high prices. Please leave a message for analysis. What is the sky-high price? It broke the Guinness World Record. At the auction of "Xiyuan Guaqing" mother tree litchi in Zengcheng, Guangdong, 10 rare fruit * * won 1 315,000 yuan, of which1rare fruit sold for 555,000 yuan.
Poverty has limited my imagination. 1 Zhenguo was successfully won by Guangdong Xintang International Cowboy City at a high price of 555,000 yuan, with a weight of 18.8 grams. The auction price of No.8 Zhenguo is 6.5438+0.55 million yuan, and its bidder is Zengcheng Sun City Hotel. 1 1 Zhenguo ranked third, and was bought by Maben Industrial Co., Ltd., which produces "Sanling" motorcycles, at the price of 10 1 ten thousand yuan. Are there any employees of these three companies? Your boss is too willful. Is the company still alive?
Did your boss eat this little cutie? Did you really eat it? How do you eat? Who ate it?
Zengcheng litchi is a symbolic product of chinese national geography. They are all geographical indication products, so the quality and reputation are very high. Of course, natural factors and human factors have their own characteristics, so you have to admit that they are so expensive to sell. Oh, yes, this is also the birthplace of "China litchi stamps".
Whether the fruit is delicious or not depends on the geographical location, topography and climate, so why is the litchi in Zengcheng delicious? Zengcheng is located in the lower reaches of Dongjiang River in the Pearl River Basin, with low mountain valley in the north, hilly valley plain in the middle and Pearl River Delta plain in the south. The climate in the county is hot and the rainfall is abundant, which has both tropical and subtropical characteristics. Due to the complex terrain and monsoon climate, it is suitable for the growth of subtropical crops such as litchi. Zengcheng litchi is famous for its unique terrain and climatic conditions.
After in-depth study, from the root, Zengcheng used to be an ancient mountain. After a long period of natural erosion, the terrain is relatively low and there are not many mountains. There are many valleys between the mountains. At the same time, there are many rivers in the city. Zengjiang River flows through the northeast and Dongjiang River flows through the south of the county seat, which provides good terrain and water resources for litchi root growth.
Autumn shoot is the basis of litchi flowering, and its germination time and quality have an important influence on the flowering and fruiting of the next year. Zengcheng has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate with a long summer, which lasts until 10. From July to September, it is dominated by typhoon and rainstorm, with southerly wind and high air humidity, which accords with the climatic conditions of high temperature, high humidity, abundant sunshine and no drought in the autumn shoot growth period of litchi.
Flower buds need a certain low temperature and relatively dry meteorological conditions. The average winter temperature in Zengcheng is generally above 10℃, with large temperature difference between day and night, sunny weather, bright sunshine and little rain, which is beneficial to the development of flower heads and lays a solid foundation for high yield of litchi.
Flowering and pollination: Zengcheng has a warm spring climate, abundant sunshine, alternating sunny and rainy days, suitable dry and wet conditions, less low temperature and rainy days, mostly around 20 degrees Celsius during the day, which is beneficial to pollination activities of bees and other insects, and sometimes there are 2-3 breeze, and the effective pollination time of stigma is long, which is beneficial to pollen spread. The above climate is beneficial to photosynthesis, nutrient synthesis and accumulation, and improves the flowering, pollination and fertilization rate of litchi.
Fruit development: the average accumulated temperature in Zengcheng from June to August is above 800, while the accumulated temperature of glutinous rice paste, cinnamon, crystal ball and fairy phoenix from female flower opening to fruit ripening is just between 800-860℃. It is mostly frontal rain in Zengcheng during fruit maturity, and the precipitation from April to June accounts for 46.7% of the annual rainfall, which is beneficial to the good development of litchi fruit and reduces the phenomenon of fruit falling and cracking.
Walking in Zengcheng, Zengcheng litchi can be seen everywhere. Zengcheng litchi culture has a long history and profound connotation. China is the earliest country to cultivate litchi, and Lingnan area is the origin of litchi. There are wild litchi trees in the original ecology in the Lanxi area of Zhengguo in the north of Zengcheng. As early as A.D. 1076, Zhang Zongmin in the Northern Song Dynasty wrote "Litchi Tree in Zengcheng". Although it has been lost, litchi planting in a county has been compiled into a monograph, which shows the grand occasion of litchi planting in Zengcheng. At the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, the Chronicle of the South China Sea compiled by Chen Dazhen said in the litchi entry: "There are many good products in Zengcheng today, which are called brittle jade, musk box, general, little general, wrinkled jade, shaped red, green radish bag, purple radish bag, big clove, small clove, eggplant, yellow mud, crystal ball and rhinoceros horn. There is also a golden hairpin, a bun and a small litchi, which are born side by side, sweet and seedless. There is also Haishanlou, and Song Zhusi studied at Haishanlou for five days (according to the place in Guangzhou today), and the rate is Japanese, because of the name. "
Su Dongpo's relegation to Lingnan enabled him to form an indissoluble bond with litchi in Guo Jia, Lingnan, and wrote many poems praising litchi. The most popular song should be a sentence in Eat Litchi: "There are 300 Litchi a day, and I will grow up to be a Lingnan person." Su Dongpo's love for litchi is scattered in his collection of poems "Su Shi Ji". Collected Works of Su Shi (Volume 78) and Fu's Secret School of Four Poems (Part II): Zengcheng has a basket of plums attached to people's hands. Not guilty! Not guilty! Someone is playing again.
This article describes Su Shi sending litchi to a friend, and the text is straightforward. See also Supplement to the Collected Works of Su Shi, four poems (1) about understanding Ouyang Hui: A Qi. I have been taught many times recently. And Lin Zengcheng also arrived, and I was deeply comforted by the details of the news. Peach, plum, rice, vinegar, all the letters, lotus is as strong as words can express. At this age, the pears are not ripe, the ones unearthed early are sour and thin, and those who leave the city late will never arrive, so they have time to sigh. Su Dongpo felt very sorry for Zengcheng without litchi. He felt that he had lived in Lingnan for nothing. This shows Su Dongpo's love for litchi in Lingnan Guo Jia.
There are records about Zengcheng litchi in Zengcheng county annals compiled in different periods of Ming and Qing Dynasties. During Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, Litchi was officially recorded as an edible fruit in Zengcheng County Records. Later, in the prosperous time of Kanggan in Qing Dynasty, the description of litchi was more detailed, among which the book "Food, Products and Fruits in Zengcheng County" in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty talked about a variety of litchi. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Zengcheng County Records produced fruits, which recorded: "There are many lychees. Litchi in central Guangdong is the most abundant in Siwanggang, Shabei, Zengcheng. Yellow mud moistens the sand, and the tide is less than the taste. There are dozens of kinds below the green, and the color, taste and fragrance are different from other counties. " However, the content of litchi recorded in Zengcheng County Records Ten Years Reconstruction Edition compiled by Qing Jiaqing is the same as that recorded in Ganlongzhi. By the time of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, the litchi recorded in Zengcheng County Records was the same as that recorded in Ganlongzhi, and the added content was: "Today, this kind of litchi is the most important. Case: one kind of hanging green is the most precious one in the west garden outside the west gate of the county, and its value is more than ten times that of others. The same is true of other excellent people, who may pass. The crystal ball for inspecting posts is also beautiful, and there is no shortage of green. In addition, rhinoceros horn, osmanthus, glutinous rice paste, Song Jiaxiang, Jinfeng, jade purse, etc. are all excellent. "
In 135 BC, after the Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty conquered Lingnan, he had a special liking for Lingnan litchi, so he ordered Lingnan officials to pay tribute every year. In ancient times when traffic was backward, how to send it from Lingnan to the north at the fastest speed? Post stations are set up every five or ten miles to transport litchi horses and raise dust all over the sky, which is as urgent as a spark. In AD 25, Taishousa, Guiyang County, Eastern Han Dynasty dug an ancient Xijing road from Lingnan to Hunan, with a total length of about 500 miles. In the Tang Dynasty, with Chang 'an as the center, there were seven important radial postal routes leading to all parts of the country, including one from Chang 'an to Lingnan and one from Chang 'an to Guangzhou via Xiangzhou (now Xiangfan, Hubei), Ezhou (now Wuchang, Wuhan), Hongzhou, Jizhou and Qianzhou (now Ganzhou, Jiangxi). There are post stations and mansions on both sides of the ancient road, equipped with fast riders, to relay litchi and deliver delicious litchi to the palace at the fastest speed.
Even if there is such a "high-speed passage", it will take more than 10 days for litchi to reach Beijing. In this process, there were no fresh-keeping equipment such as freezers in ancient times. How to keep litchi fresh? Clever ancients had their own tricks: choose the brightest red litchi, find thick bamboo in the bamboo forest to make a bamboo tube, cut a hole and put the litchi in the bamboo tube, then spread it with bamboo, wrap it with some mud, and wet the litchi with water in the bamboo after sealing. The effect of keeping litchi fresh with bamboo is wonderful, and most of them remain fresh after 7 days.
