The Chengdu Universiade slogan, emblem, mascot and franchise global press conference was held in the Universiade Village of Chengdu University. The mascot "Rongbao" is based on a panda, incorporating elements of traditional Chinese culture and Sichuan characteristics into the design, integrating modern spirit and traditional culture, and reflecting the warm welcome and expectations for college athletes.

The Chengdu Universiade Franchise Plan will be officially launched in April 2021.
