If you could only choose one scenic spot in Xishuangbanna, what would you choose? If I were you, I would definitely choose Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences, not only because it is the only 5A scenic spot in Xishuangbanna, but in my eyes, here and Man Ting Park are really two places worth visiting in Banna.

Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of China Academy of Sciences was built in 1950s by Professor Cai, a famous botanist. It is the largest botanical garden in China, with the richest species and the most specialized plants. It has more than 65,438+02,000 species of living plants and 38 special plant areas. Many exotic flowers, exotic plants and tropical trees that you have heard and never heard of can be seen here.

Botanical Gardens are divided into West Zone and East Zone. Among them, the most popular and ornamental plant gardens are concentrated in the West Zone, including palm garden, banyan garden, exotic flowers and herbs garden and famous tree garden.

The eastern part is a tropical rain forest area, mainly tropical rain forest and green stone forest, accounting for most of the botanical garden area.

Man Ting Park, also known as Man Ting Royal Garden, is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, and was once the royal garden of Dai king in Xishuangbanna. It has three characteristics: "Dai royal culture, Dai folk culture and Buddhist culture". There are hills, rivers, tropical plants and rich national cultural landscapes in the park, which is a natural rural park.

Besides scenery, culture and architecture, there are many other attractions. In the morning, there are minority song and dance performances in the park, and there are elephant performances and parrot performances regularly every day. The park is connected with the General Buddhist Temple, so you can visit the General Buddhist Temple together.

It is one of the best-preserved tropical valley rainforests and the closest virgin forest to Jinghong City. There are animal performances, ethnic minority performances and tropical rain forest landscapes in the park. The most famous peacocks in Banna are released here, and the tropical rain forest can enjoy the exotic landscapes such as Bangen, Strangulation, Old Stem Flower and Gu Teng.

There are peacock mountain villa, monkey domestication base, large-scale national customs performance venues, Jiulong Waterfall, tropical rain forest, jungle leap and other attractions.

Peacock Mountain Villa is the first stop and the most worth visiting. There are many performances every day. The first is the characteristic song and dance performance of Dai brothers and sisters. As soon as the performance is over, peacocks will fly out from the opposite mountain forest when they hear the whistle of the breeder, and they can enjoy the spectacular scene of hundreds of peacocks Qi Fei.

Banna Bridge spans the Lancang River, and the night view of the whole river is beautiful. You can walk along the river in the evening when the breeze blows gently, which makes me feel a little like Lijiang River in Guilin.

It is located in the west of Shuangjing Gaozhuang, overlooking from the steps, very spectacular and brightly lit. You can go shopping, but eating in it is not recommended. Needless to say, the business taste of tourists is not necessarily good. Banna also has a night market called Riverside Night Market. Relatively speaking, locals go there more, selling clothes and daily necessities.

Yang Yang snacks

It was difficult to find it in an alley near Man Ting Park for the first time. Cheap food is big and delicious! If you order too much, the boss will tell you that you can't finish it and ask you to eat less.

Braised fish is a must-eat dish in Banna and my favorite dish here. Tilapia is fried with tender meat and no other seasonings. I put on disposable gloves to wrap fish, rice noodles, coriander, chopped mushrooms and peanuts in lettuce, and then poured some special Chili sauce. It's delicious to bite down.

If it's for one person, this is enough, 30 each, and 35 for the set meal with juice and rice.

Besides cabbage fish, there are other recommendations, such as golden toast, ice powder, fried rice, boiled cucumber and so on.

I think dry rice is almost rice noodles. One morning, I ate a boiled rice, which felt like rice noodles, hahaha.

Recommended: beef, pork belly, pigskin, tofu, sweet sausage, mushrooms, lemon fish, small melons, fish tofu, grilled shrimp, potato chips and shredded cucumber.

Tip: His baked food is a little spicy, and the meat is acceptable to me. The baked vegetables and boiled cucumbers are spicy, and my nose is crooked, but his boiled cucumbers are the best I have ever eaten in Banna!

Manfeilong roast chicken

An online celebrity store is located in Gaozhuang, but its cost performance and taste are much higher than those of online celebrity stores. 128 is such a large part that you can eat the signs in the basic store, which is enough for two people.

Barbecue includes roast chicken, grilled third-line meat, citronella grilled fish and so on. Personally, I like third-line meat best. The staple foods are small pot rice noodles, glutinous rice, pineapple rice, corn and Ciba. Lettuce includes cucumber, bracken, mint and an unknown wild vegetable. It is recommended to eat only cucumbers and bracken, but the other two are really not good.

Pineapple red bean ice, pineapple red bean is very sweet. Watermelon smoothies can effectively relieve summer heat.

In addition to ice products, his family also has some simple meals of powder, which are very delicious. Lemon rice noodles with tenderloin and rice noodles are cold, and the taste is a little different from that of cold noodles in northeast China. It's very suitable for Banna to eat in summer. I've eaten both sour and appetizing dishes, but I must tell the waiter to be less spicy.

Lemon bean jelly is his signature, but I don't think it has the characteristics of tenderloin lemon rice flour, just lemon bean jelly.

Banna has a lot of fruits, which are cheap and delicious. After I left Banna, fruits everywhere were so expensive.

Pineapple: Don't buy small pineapples. Normal pineapples are also very sweet. I forgot how much a kilo is, but it's not expensive.

Yangmei: Full and juicy. I regret not eating more there. A box is only six or seven dollars.

Durian: It's the first time to eat Maoshanwang. It's really delicious! Banna is actually not cheap compared with Southeast Asia. I haven't eaten in Malaysia before.

Jackfruit: The roadside jackfruit is now peeled and sold. A big one. Just 8 yuan. This is a juicy jackfruit. I like it.

Mango: I didn't eat mango this time. Because the physiological period is not suitable for eating mangoes. I don't know what the mango in Banna is like, but the price is very cheap.

Tips: The price of fruit from cheap to expensive is: stalls in the old city, fruit shops, night market stalls and supermarkets in the urban area are the most expensive.

Many people suggested living in Gaozhuang, and even the master who picked me up asked me why I didn't live in Gaozhuang, saying it was more lively there. Later, I went to Gaozhuang and found it lively, but it was more like it was specially prepared for tourists. I suggest staying in the old city, if I want to get in touch with the local atmosphere, such as Man Ting Park and Jinglan Temple.

In addition, the bus in Banna is not very convenient. Don't rely on the recommendation of Baidu map to take the bus. It is not allowed here. Suggest asking the local people for directions.
