What should I pay attention to when killing rabbits?

1. The best way to kill rabbits is to stab the heart with an awl or drown with boiling water. Then add quicklime into hot water at 70℃~80℃, and then soak the slaughtered rabbits in limewater for 2 minutes. Rabbit hair scalded with quicklime water is easy to clean.

2. Rabbit hair is very expensive, and it is usually peeled when slaughtered. First, the skin around the wrist joint of the forelimb and the tarsal joint of the hind limb of the rabbit was cut, then the skin was cut through the anus along the inner thigh with a knife, and then the flesh was separated by hand. When peeling, grab the belly and back of rabbit skin tightly with both hands and turn it down toward the head, just like turning socks. Peeling while it is hot is smoother, and generally no knife is needed. Finally, the forelimbs are pulled out, and the connective tissue and cartilage around the ears, eyes and lips are removed, thus peeling off a cylindrical fresh skin with inward hair and outward flesh.
