Recently, news came from Shaoyang Civil Affairs Bureau. According to the notice issued by the Provincial Civil Affairs Department on June 5th 165438+, the provincial people's government approved the establishment of towns in Jianjialong, Ling Jie Township, Qinqiao Township of Wugang City and Wawutang Township of Suining County, with the administrative area of the original township as the administrative area of the newly established town. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, the government residence will remain unchanged, and village and community neighborhood committees will be implemented. So far, there are 22 1 township administrative districts in the city, including 24 streets, 69 townships, and 2 1 ethnic townships.

According to the relevant person in charge of Shaoyang Civil Affairs Bureau, there are certain standard requirements for establishing a new town or withdrawing a town to set up a city in terms of permanent population, fiscal revenue, gross industrial and agricultural output value, the proportion of the output value of the secondary and tertiary industries to the regional GDP, public infrastructure and social service facilities. Among the four towns that set up the city this time, Shaodong Ling Jie Town is the east gate of our city, with Tan-Shao Expressway, Lou-Shao Railway and National Highway 320 criss-crossing. At present, it has formed an urbanization development area centered on Dangjia, Dangjia, Dangjia, Jinju and other villages, which has produced obvious agglomeration effect. Jianjialong Town is located in the south of the county seat. After scientific planning and rational construction in recent years, the industry has developed steadily, characteristic agriculture has begun to take shape, and the level of urbanization has gradually improved. Qinqiao Town is located in the east of Wugang City. In recent years, by vigorously promoting the construction of small towns, all kinds of public infrastructure are relatively perfect, social security, culture and sports and other infrastructure facilities are complete, and urban commerce and trade are prosperous. Wawutang Town, located in the north of Suining County, is a major grain-producing township and an "eco-economic township" in the county. In recent years, modern agriculture, emerging industries and tourism have developed rapidly, forming characteristic pillar industries such as eco-tourism, hydropower, steel processing and agricultural and sideline products processing.

After the four townships are removed from their townships to set up towns, they will continue to strengthen urbanization construction, standardize urbanization management, standardize the setting of place name signs and doors (buildings), enhance the cultural taste of cities and towns, and accelerate urban-rural integration and urban development.
