Where can I have a fun day trip in Dongguan?

Dongguan is the physiological capital of activities and synonymous with the world factory. There are countless small factories and workshops of all sizes, and all kinds of goods produced are exported at home and abroad, becoming the largest light industry base in the south. Let's talk about how much fun a one-day tour in Dongguan is.

In fact, there are many interesting places to choose from in a one-day tour in Dongguan. The factories here are spectacular, and all kinds of high-end consumer places here are also very popular. There are also many beautiful parks to go to. Let's take a look at some interesting places in Dongguan.

I wonder what your impression of Dongguan is? Was it once the "factory of the world"?

Does the smoke in Humen stir the soul? Is it a five-star hotel all over the city?

Liang Wendao, a famous Hong Kong cultural figure, once briefly described Dongguan: In my impression, Dongguan is a city composed of hotels and factories.

In fact, when you jump out of this framework and initial impression, approach it and understand it, you will find that these statements are biased and inaccurate.

As Ji Bolun once said: A person has two selves, one wakes up in the dark and the other sleeps in the light. People are like this, and so is a city. I wonder if you have seen the other side of Dongguan?

West Road: Lingnan arcade can be seen everywhere.

Daxi Road, which was formed in the Qing Dynasty, has commercial and residential arcade buildings on both sides of the street, as well as many well-preserved three-stage facade buildings that combine Chinese and western styles. The first floor of arcade is a promenade and a shop that can walk freely, and the second floor is the home above the shop. This is a typical Lingnan arcade building.

In every door of every building, there is a memory and story about old Dongguan. Walking in time, it seems that you can smell the old days.

Among the arcades all over the country, Guangzhou arcade has various forms and is well preserved, which is the representative of Cantonese arcade. As a famous historical and cultural city, Dongguan's arcade on Daxi Road has achieved a perfect combination of business and living environment, which is also of great historical significance.

Dongfanghong photo studio on West Road is at the intersection. As soon as I looked up, the word Dongfanghong immediately echoed in people's ears with the folk song "Dongfanghong, the sun rises, and a Mao Zedong appears in the East", as if riding a Doraemon time shuttle back to decades ago.

But look at the advertising signs on the columns on both sides of the door, dragging people to modern times. In this way, even if Dongfanghong Photo Studio is now engaged in the business of keeping pace with the times, it will not prevent it from becoming a well-known folk landmark in the northern suburbs, Guancheng and Dongguan on this old street.

Unlike the busy figure of Dongguan World Factory, the residents here seem to be much more peaceful and indifferent.

In the old Dongguan hotel, in the shops along Daxi Road arcade, Dongguan people are in no hurry. They sit around old restaurants, listen to Cantonese opera, have tea and eat, and concentrate on their own small business in front of the store, so that their lives will not be messed up by fast-paced work. This is the real life of ordinary people.

Cantonese people are famous for making soup, so it is impossible to have all kinds of ingredients in soup. I don't know if these dried vegetables on the street are for home use or for sale, such as longan shells, longan seeds and wax gourd seeds. It's not what I can think of at all. Look at people's lives and see if they are wasting their lives. Good baby doesn't know how to use it.

I compete with time and my own yesterday every day. Sometimes I struggle but I am tired. It is better to flow through life like running water, pay attention to the present and turn ordinary days into a poem with details.

Old Guancheng Hotel: Full of sense of time.

Laoguancheng restaurant

When people reach a certain age, they like to start nostalgia and find something that symbolizes their own value to remember the past years. As soon as I approached Dongguan Laoguancheng Hotel, I felt a strong sense of the times, and suddenly felt that time flies, reminding me of the years.

When you walk into Laoguancheng Hotel, the first thing you see is a conspicuous big position on the right side of the hotel. Dongguan's three treasures produced by Laoguancheng Hotel are-1: dried tangerine peel, salted olives and a bag of grass, 15 yuan, which is said to be an intangible cultural heritage protection project.

There are two large rooms in front and back of the hotel, with seemingly unpretentious mottled walls, Sun Yat-sen's portrait, plaque couplets, old ceiling fans, old clocks, birdcages, birds and paintings.

And there are old stories. There are not many old houses. With the passage of time and the modernization of life, it is really difficult to find such a place with primitive architecture and style. The business here is very good, and the shops can keep such a sense of the times. I think it has a unique taste.

There is Cantonese opera on TV in the shop, so I don't know much about it. However, Cantonese Opera, also called "Cantonese Opera" or "Grand Drama", is one of the traditional operas in Guangdong. There are many theatres in Guangdong and Hong Kong that perform Cantonese opera, most of which are probably enjoyed by the elderly. Cantonese opera performance artists Wang Mingquan and Luo Jiaying became attached to Cantonese opera.

Classic Cantonese cuisine, crispy roast goose, boiled fish skin lettuce, a cup of coconut milk black-bone chicken soup at a price of 10 yuan, steamed meatballs, food delivery at a price of more than 100, and steamed fish with lobster sauce, all of which are delicious and affordable. Dongguan specialties are sold in the store, which is awesome. There are many neighborhoods where people eat, and there is a feeling of eating around the ancestral temple.

The rooster bowl used in Laoguancheng Hotel, also called the Entrepreneurial Bowl, means getting rich and developed. It is said to be a unique bowl in Guangdong and southern Fujian. Shooting Stephen Chow's royal props with TVB.

Park: one of the four major gardens in Lingnan.

Dongguan Keyuan, one of the four major gardens in Lingnan, was built by Zhang, a native of Guancheng, with pavilions, carved windows, flowing bridges, moonlight on the lotus pond, and swans jumping in koi fish.

The scenic spot is divided into two parts: the ancient building area and the Keyuan Museum. The museum is free, and the entrance ticket for 8 yuan, with a building area, costs tens of yuan to hundreds of yuan in domestic scenic spots. I can't help sighing that this ticket is really a conscience price.

Entering Keyuan, you immediately find a quiet and pure land in the noise. If it is not too hot, it will be more peaceful and leisurely to walk in the three lakes bluestone architectural garden.

As one of the four major gardens in Lingnan, Keyuan is as famous as Tsinghua Garden in Shunde, Liangyuan Garden in Foshan and Yumeng Mountain in Panyu. I haven't been to other gardens. As far as Keyuan is concerned, I think the most admirable thing is the cultivation of its owner Zhang.

As a native of Dongguan, Zhang spent more than ten years working hard to build this famous Lingnan garden-Keyuan. At the same time, as a military commander, his career was ups and downs, and he risked his life to resist the British invaders.

As a scholar, he dabbled extensively in calligraphy, painting and calligraphy, chess and singing, and invited many scholars to play the piano and recite poems in the academy. It also helped Ju Lian to stay in the nest for a long time and paint in Ke Yuan, which laid the painting style of Lingnan School. I really admire a man who can do such a thing.

The tallest building in the park-the first floor, with a height of 17.5 meters, can climb to the top along the stone steps on the side of the building, with windows on all sides and wings spread out, which looks like a watchtower from a distance. This is an ancient military watchtower. When you climb to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the scenery of Guancheng through the window.

However, the garden buildings are basically walls made of blue bricks, with an invitation pavilion on the top floor and nearly 30 special windows ("oyster shell windows").

This kind of window must be polished into even thin slices with good quality oyster shells, in order to make oyster shell windows with certain transparency, decoration and privacy.

However, if you are not careful, such a special and rare oyster shell window will be missed during the tour.

Looking up and down at the eaves of the ancient well, although many places have been renovated, you can still smell the old days if you don't worry and touch them slowly.

Since ancient times, quadrangles have always been a life complex that China people can't give up. How deep is the yard? Willow leaves are piled with smoke and countless curtains.

Look at the green dripping from the bamboo tips. Listen, the green grass is whispering in the wheat straw. Let him make noise in the world, and I will "scream and crawl"

The Collection of Cultural Essays on Lingnan Classical Gardens —— Rain Beats Bananas and Falls Idlely: Lingnan Paintings comprehensively describes the history, structure, artistic conception and characteristics of Keyuan.

Quiet streets, ancient trees, high walls, a courtyard is a world. Strolling through it, it seems to be back to the wonderful moment when the garden owner plays the piano, recites poems and draws pictures.

But in the garden, all eyes are green, and you can see the scenery when you walk. A piece of green water, sparkling blue waves, elegant reflection. Happy fish and swans swimming freely add a touch of agility to the quiet garden.

In the stone carving exhibition area of Keke Park, there are ancient lintels, columns, horse nails and stone carvings of the Chinese zodiac. I don't know much about stone carving. I'm just looking around.

The museum area of Keyuan is located between the winding path of East Lake and the bamboo path.

On the second floor, there are fine calligraphy and painting exhibitions of Badashanren (high imitation), exhibitions of traditional gardens and houses in Lingnan, and exhibition halls of Ju Lian and Keyuan, but the second floor was closed on the day of the visit. If you are interested in painting and calligraphy, if you are interested in ancient buildings, you can really get a good edification and knowledge here.

Many buildings in Lingnan will use oyster shells to build walls, which are stacked on top of each other and arranged closely. They not only have sound insulation effect, but also are warm in winter and cool in summer and durable. It is difficult to take the oyster shell out of the wall. In Keyuan Museum, I saw these huge oyster shells, which are as long as two palms, but I have never seen them before.

It is the physical evidence of ancient buildings and a kind of solidified music. Its structure, its materials, its planning and layout, its spatial changes and its colors are the accumulation of wisdom and experience of those ancestors of that era, and also the inheritance of civilization.

I agree with some people that geography needs to be combined with history to be more meaningful and inclusive. Every ancient building has traces of historical and cultural heritage, which deserves admiration and awe.

Xiabafang: fresh, exclusive to Dongguan.

Xiafang, known as Gulangyu Island in Dongguan, has a feeling of crossing Dali, Lijiang and Xiamen whenever night falls. But there seem to be too many bars, which are more suitable for young people.

At dusk, the soft sunshine casts mottled light and shadow in the narrow alley of Xiabafang. Many people come here to take pictures, and it has become a battlefield for wedding photography.

Like 798 in Beijing, Tianzifang in Shanghai and Gulangyu in Xiamen, they are all creative design arts, and many architectural decorations are quite emotional and creative. Just take a picture and it will be small and fresh.

It is also excellent to sit in a coffee shop, have afternoon tea by the river with a long string of snacks, then go to a stall to find some snacks to chat and take a walk at dusk.

However, it seems that Xiabafang belongs to the night. After nightfall, red lanterns lit up the whole street, crowded and bustling, and Xia Bafang seemed to change from a quiet girl during the day to a rock girl, hot and wild.

Xiabafang is a famous historical and cultural village in Dongguan and a well-preserved Lingnan cultural village. There is a wooden gold plaque at the head of the village, which is dedicated to the famous ministers of the Ming Dynasty. The buildings in the village are antique and well preserved.

At night, the summer heat fades away, I walk in the night, and my thoughts spread in the night. I think at will, move with the environment, stop and go, indifferent to peace, and find a shallow pleasure in the noise.

Dongguan gives itself a day to wander between classical and modern, without too many surprises and disappointments.
