Qianfo Temple, founded in the Tang Dynasty, is located in the dense forest of ancient trees along the back edge of Cuiping Mountain in Yibin City. 1995, Yibin municipal government revived the Thousand Buddha Temple, and the first abbot, Master Zuming, passed down his ancestors by karma, leading the monks in the whole temple and working hard. 1998 (the eighth day of the fifth lunar month), the Hall of the Great Heroes was first completed.

The main project of 1999 was completed, and the opening ceremony was held on the Buddha's birthday (the eighth day of April last year). The Thousand-Buddha Temple is built on the mountain, and the central axis is the Thousand-Buddha Hall, the Tianwang Hall, the Dizang Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Guanyin Hall and the Seven-Buddha Hall in turn. The west room is Luohan Hall, Fatang Hall, Drum Tower (Tibetan Scripture Building) and Xisanxian Hall in turn; Behind the East Wing is the Forest of Monuments to the Thousand Buddhas, the Cuiping Night Bell (Bell Tower), the plastic corridor of the East Three Sages and Twelve Medicine Forks, and the Range Rover Pavilion. There are a Buddhist chanting hall, a five-view hall and a hut. Pavilions and pavilions and tea garden exhibition halls are specially set up in each tourist route to facilitate pilgrims to rest.
