Now many restaurants use methanol oil as fuel, why not use ethanol?

Ethanol is a flammable and explosive chemical fuel, which belongs to the scope of safety production and fire safety management.

The use of liquid ethanol as fuel in catering industry can not meet the requirements of fire regulations. There is solid ethanol in the small hot pot used for warm ironing in restaurants, but it is rare. It is illegal to use it as a hot pot fuel in an all-round way. First, the storage capacity is large, which can not meet the requirements of fire protection specifications; Second, the gas produced during combustion is extremely harmful to human body; Third, the fire hazard is serious.

Solid alcohol is not solid alcohol (the melting point of alcohol is very low, it is-1 17.3℃, so it can't be solid at room temperature), but industrial alcohol (ethanol) is added with coagulant to make it solid. When in use, it can be lit with matches. When burning, it is smokeless, non-toxic and tasteless, and the flame temperature is uniform, and the temperature can reach about 600℃. It can burn for more than 1.5 hours per 250 g, which is more economical, convenient and safe than using electric furnace and alcohol furnace. Therefore, it is an ideal convenient fuel.

Moreover, the cost of ethanol is too high to be suitable for small and medium-sized hotels.
