1992 when Huang Qi town was established, the people's government of the town was located at the mouth of Huang Qi, 5 kilometers away from the main city (note: 196 when Jiangbei Sub-district Office was established, it was moved to Beiyan Temple in Dianyi Community 10). The natural landscape in the territory is dominated by Beishanping, and there is a lush pine forest on the edge of the cliff at the top of the mountain 10 km, which is known as "Songping Liecui" and ranks first among the eight scenic spots in Fuling. The landscape has not changed for hundreds of years. Climbing to Beishanping, you can not only overlook the whole Fuling city, but also see the magnificent landscape where the surging Yangtze River meets the green and clear Wujiang River from the east. When night falls, you can also enjoy the bright and colorful lights at night in Fuling Mountain City. In addition, you can have a panoramic view of the other seven of the eight sights in Fuling, namely, the clarification of Guizhou water, the autumn moon in Gui Lou, the spring breeze in Lipu, the woodcutter's song in the iron cabinet, the fishing flute in Jianhu Lake, the roar of pigs at night and the ringing of white cranes, which are of endless interest. The cultural landscape mainly includes: the iron cabinet city where Zhuge Liang was stationed; One Cave in the Temple, Goushen Temple, Xi Mo Chi, Sanweizhai, Sixian Building, Guanlan Pavilion, Reading Gallery, Sanxian Building, Biyun Pavilion and Zhiyuan Pavilion all have stories of historical celebrities. There are inscriptions on Beiyan that show the origin of Fuling culture and have been preserved for thousands of years: there are mysterious and heavy historical points, such as Yixi Han Group and Beiyan Donghan Cliff Tomb. Xu Bangdao's tomb and former residence are also in the territory.

The cultural tourism resources in the jurisdiction have outstanding characteristics, including the birthplace of Zhu Cheng Neo-Confucianism-Dianyi Cave, the Goushen Temple where Cheng Yi and Huang Tingjian gave lectures, and Beiyan Academy, the first place of education enlightenment in Fuling District. Scholars in previous dynasties inscribed Beiyan as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Fuling District, and Xu Bangdao Tomb, Dianyihan Group, Zhiyuan Pavilion, Biyun Pavilion, Sixian Building, Guanlan Pavilion and so on built in the Tang and Song Dynasties. With the completion and perfection of "Beishan Tianyi Health Ladder", Beishanping Comprehensive Outdoor Sports Park, Beishan Leisure Resort Center (4☆), Chongqing Fuling Huadi Dynasty Hotel (5☆) and a large number of key projects such as Fuzhou Ancient City and Shabeituo Ecological Livable New City, the new town in northern Fuling will rise from here.
