It was beyond my expectation. Following the recent activity of "Spring Festival Couplets to celebrate the new year with full flavor, New Year's pen exhibition, Hongdou solicits new Spring Festival couplets" jointly organized by Guangxi News Network and the National Internet, two couplets created by me won the second prize and the excellence award respectively. , two more couplets won the first prize in the "Hancheng City 2014 National New Year Competition", and two couplets won the finalist award at the same time, which is really unexpected!

At the beginning of this year, when I saw the "Call for Submissions for the 2014 National New Year Contest in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province" on the Internet, I used my free time to conceive nearly 10 couplets, and then refined them. Select 4 couplets that you think are satisfactory and mail them to the city's national competition office. Half a year later, that is, this afternoon, I received a registered letter from the Hancheng City Culture and Sports Bureau. When I opened it, it turned out to be a newly released "Longmen" magazine, the 35th issue of 2014. , which published the winning works of this national New Year's couplet competition, and included an award certificate, which said that my couplet won the first prize. After checking the award-winning works published in this "Dragon Gate" magazine, I found that all four of my couplets have won awards. Among them, "The spring breeze is blowing, and the wisps of auspiciousness are gathering, and the world is gathering positive energy; the nectar is blowing, every field is auspicious, and Yudian is singing for a new era." The two couplets "Thousands of Miles Across the River" won the first prize; and "The great cause soared, the Chinese dragon raised its head in pursuit of the dream; Hancheng rode the horse, sang Yudian's horse and raised its hooves" and "The flowers in the elephant ridge are bright red and purple, and the flowers in Guanzhong rise."
