Where is Jianshui ancient city? A must-see spot for Jianshui.
About Jianshui Jianshui Ancient City was built in the Tang Dynasty with a history of 1200 years. Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties were the political, economic and cultural centers of southern Yunnan, and they were known as "Zou Lu in southern Yunnan".
Jianshui ancient city is also called "Lin 'an". It is said that after the Yuan Dynasty conquered the Southern Song Dynasty, in order to show its contempt for the Southern Song Dynasty, the title of "Lin 'an" was assigned to the remote Jianshui.
But perhaps "Lin 'an" also brought poetry and calligraphy to Jianshui. At present, there are more than 50 well-preserved ancient buildings in the ancient city, which can be called an "ancient building museum" and a "residential museum". It seems that only the word "Lin 'an" can carry those ancient, exquisite, beautiful and quiet century-old houses.
The Beauty of Jianshui Ancient City Jianshui is the most unforgettable stop in Yunnan. Except for big festivals, you rarely see bustling tourists when you walk in the ancient city. Some local people are very busy. Compared with outsiders, Jianshui people are more simple. Here you can feel their real life everywhere. So it is very different from Dali and Lijiang, which have a strong commercial atmosphere.
Jianshui
In history, it once became the political, economic, cultural, military center and transportation hub of southern Yunnan. Deeply influenced by the Central Plains culture, it has formed a pluralistic and integrated Chinese culture and frontier minority culture. After 12 century's construction, its ancient city still preserves more than 50 ancient buildings, which is known as "Ancient Architecture Museum" and "Folk House Museum".
Strolling through the streets of the ancient city, even the most common famous houses retain the most primitive and quaint original appearance. Jianshui Street is not as prosperous as a tourist city, but more about the real life of local people.
Jianshui must-see scenic spot Chaoyang building
Jianshui was called "Lin 'an" in ancient times. After the Yuan Dynasty conquered the Southern Song Dynasty, in order to show its contempt for the Southern Song Dynasty, the title of "Lin 'an" was assigned to the remote Jianshui, but Jianshui also developed.
The east gate of the four gates of the ancient city and the Chaoyang Tower on the east gate were built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, similar to Tiananmen Square in the Forbidden City of the Ming Dynasty, but earlier than the Forbidden City.
The front of this building is engraved with "Southeast of Xiongzhen".
After more than 600 years of wars and earthquakes, Jianshui ancient city still stands. From a distance, it stands tall, and from a close look, it is described in the Records of Jianshui County: "The East Tower is 100 feet high and inserted into the sky at night, overlooking the whole city, with thousands of fireworks and boundless scenery."
Now Jianshui people walk birds under the gatehouse in the morning and "Killer" (the "Bazi Dance" of the Yi people) in the square in front of the gatehouse at night. The ancient city tower has long been a part of their lives.
The cursive script hanging behind the building is the handwriting of the master of cursive script in Qing Dynasty and Tang Dynasty.
Zhujiayuan
There are more than 100 ancient buildings of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties in the ancient city, the most famous of which is Jia Zhu Garden.
. This is a building in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, which took more than 20 years, covering an area of 5,000 square meters, with 42 courtyards and 2 14 houses. It is called "South Yunnan Grand View Garden"!
The gate is the most luxurious five-stage style in Jianshui.
Dabanjing
Strolling through Jianshui ancient city, you often meet ancient wells unexpectedly. There are cobwebs in old streets and lanes in the city. In these old streets and lanes, there are nearly 100 ancient wells. After thousands of years of vicissitudes, the rope marks on the bluestone mine field have been many inches deep, and some have even been worn through. Become a witness to Jianshui's long history and culture.
In Jianshui Ancient City, there is a couplet describing six ancient wells in Jianshui: "Longjing Hongjing Zhuge Well, Liquan Yolanda Puboquan". Among many ancient wells, Pubo Spring, which is famous for its water construction, is a well-known one that can be directly drunk and rich in water, with a diameter of 2.7 meters.
According to Yunnan Tongzhi, "Puboquan is located in the west half of Jianshui City, and the water is sweet and sweet for the whole city to drink." Although the exact digging time of Puboquan is recorded in writing, it is said that the ancient well built in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty won the reputation of "the first well in southern Yunnan", and there is also a saying among the people that "Dabanjing comes first, then Lin 'an City".
People come here to fetch water every day. Although life is good now and everyone has running water, people are still used to drawing water here. Drawing water from ancient wells is also a technical job. First put the bucket into the well, shake it from side to side to remove impurities on the water surface, and then suddenly throw it hard, so that the bucket sinks into the water. Then I lifted it with my arm, and a bucket of water came up. It looks effortless at all, but it's not as simple as I thought. I can't even hit water.
School management test shed
Yunnan Fuyin's academic and political examination shed is a very interesting place. The examination room was once the product of the feudal imperial examination system in China. With the abolition of the imperial examination more than 100 years ago, almost all the test sheds in various places disappeared. It is precious to have such a well-preserved experimental shed in this remote border.
Jianshui's test shed was built in the early Ming Dynasty, and the preserved test shed was built in the late Qing Dynasty, which is a place for students in southern Yunnan to take the college entrance examination and get a scholarship. The whole building is in a symmetrical layout, with six courtyards, which are progressive layer by layer, and consists of two parts: the examination room and the academic affairs office.
Confucian temple
Confucius Temple, another name of Confucius Temple, is a temple building built to commemorate Confucius. The more common name is "Confucius Temple", which is a place for Confucian activities.
The feudal dynasty held Confucius in high esteem, so it regarded repairing temples and offering sacrifices to Confucius as a national event. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, every state, prefecture and county government had a Confucius Temple or a Confucian Temple. Its large number, high regulation and exquisite architectural technology and art are the most prominent types of ancient Chinese architecture and an extremely important part of ancient Chinese cultural heritage. At present, there are only over 300 well-preserved Confucius temples in China, and 2 1 temple is listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
