Morocco's trip to the Sahara: a love poem between the desert and the sea

It's hard to appreciate the charm of the Sahara without going once.

A woman from Taiwan Province Province just saw a photo of Sahara in a geography magazine and decided to fly halfway around the world to settle in Sahara. "I don't remember what year it was, but I accidentally turned to a National Geographic magazine, which just introduced the Sahara Desert. I only read it once, but I couldn't get rid of the homesickness similar to the memory of past lives, so I gave it to the strange world inexplicably and unreservedly. " -San Mao

Many calm and rational people in the world will disdain or even sneer at this, giving up a good modern city and going to that desolate and barren place, either asking for trouble or having mental problems?

San Mao said that the land in the Sahara is her "homesickness in previous lives" and her "dream lover". San Mao's beloved husband, Jose, gave her a nickname "My Sahara Heart".

I've always been curious: what kind of Sahara has such magic of love at first sight? Until this year, I finally had a trip to Morocco and walked into the Sahara desert, feeling that everything was like a dream, but it was so real.

It's not that I haven't been to the desert, but once I enter the Sahara, that's the real desert in my mind! Came to the Sahara, I finally know, why San Mao will be dead set on falling in love with this land:

Even if it is barren, it is beautiful and frank;

Even if you are silent, you can't do it;

Even if no one cheers, I am still the same.

Only when I arrived in the Sahara did my feet step on this vast and barren land and my eyes looked at the endless sand dunes. At sunrise, it is as red as sunrise, and at sunset, it is as golden as sunset. My skin feels the hot and even rough touch of the sun. The feeling of shock and submission is one tenth of Sahara's magic.

Sahara is so beautiful. It is a kind of pure beauty in essence and obedience to the beauty of the creator. Without any modification, barren to the extreme beauty has formed the best eulogy for life.

In my travel experience, Palau in the Pacific Ocean, Maldives in the Indian Ocean, Sovilla in the Atlantic Ocean and so on all have magnificent ocean sunrises, but I think the sunrise in the Sahara desert is somewhat similar to the ocean sunrise. In the early morning when moonlight and starlight are still visible, it is unforgettable to "climb" over one continuous sand dune with one foot deep and one foot shallow.

Endless, undulating sand dunes are like ocean waves, except that the ocean waves are dynamic, while the waves here are static. Ocean waves are dynamic sounds, while desert waves are suffocating and static.

The Sahara desert is the largest desert on the earth today; The past life of Sahara turned out to be a magnificent ocean hundreds of millions of years ago. Archaeologists have found the remains of marine life such as fish bones here, which strongly proves that it was once an ocean. Some explorers found that there are many remains of marine life hidden under the desert, and abundant oil was also found in the northern Sahara. When we were traveling in the desert, we passed a fossil art processing factory, and the conch seaweed fossils in the stones were clearly visible. Things changed and were magically verified in the Sahara desert.

San Mao and Jose married in Ayong, which belongs to Western Sahara. After this trip to the Sahara Desert, I saw Sanmao's cheerful "Sahara Story" recording life in the desert, and her low "How many flowers fell in her dream" after Jose's unexpected death. Without full love and affectionate memories, it is impossible to write such real and touching words. Why would anyone question that Jose is a hypocrite? If I can choose, I believe Sanmao will choose to spend her life in the Sahara with her beloved, instead of making up this Sahara love legend for the sake of fame, as some people have speculated.

I once heard an interview recording of San Mao on the Internet. She speaks Mandarin in Taiwan Province, which sounds sweet and even awkward, a bit like Lin Chi-ling. But I can hear that she is the kind of woman who expresses herself directly, without covering up or being mysterious. If we use natural scenery as an analogy, it is really like the beautiful Sahara, where endless sand dunes flow freely and never change course because of other people's eyes or comments.

On the last night in the desert hotel, I took Sanmao's book "The Story of the Sahara" and sat in a chair by the hotel pool, quietly watching Sanmao and Jose's vivid desert story. I was intoxicated with it when suddenly a gust of wind blew, and the half-curved moon in the sky disappeared, making the whole sky dark. The whistling wind is accompanied by a rustling sound. Is it raining in the desert? The moment I looked up, I suddenly felt sand in my eyes. It turned out to be sand rain! To be exact, it should be said that it is a sandstorm. Pick up the book quickly, run into the room, close the door immediately, and be isolated from the dark and dusty world outside. But I can't help but wonder. I wanted to open the door and have a look again, but I was scared away by the crazy storm sand outside. The Sahara vividly embodies its infinite power on this night. I suddenly remembered reading just now, just like chatting with Sanmao, a temperament woman who loves to travel and love the desert. Is it really my own arrangement to let me experience the Sahara more personally on this desert night?

So, I turned on the desk lamp, recalled the story of Sahara in the book and wrote this little poem.

Her previous life was a desert, and she was passionate about freedom.

His past life was an ocean, magnificent and affectionate.

She and he have been together all their lives

This is a love poem between the Sahara desert and the Atlantic Ocean.

She married him from scratch in the desert.

When you are an amateur fisherman, you meet a crying camel. ......

However, he first returned to his past marine life.

If possible

She would rather stay in the desert in the past.

In exchange for a lifetime with him.

Just no ifs.

Fortunately, I have memories.

"Dream flowers fall know how much:

I remember when I was a child, you loved to talk and I loved to laugh.

Once sat side by side under a peach tree, the wind was at the top of the tree and the birds were chirping.

I don't know how to sleep ... "

I don't know if I am a guest when I wake up.

Goodbye, desert and sea.

Agree to heaven

Sahara?

-in memory of San Mao's Sahara love with Jose.

Can it be compared with chasing fame and fortune in the world of mortals, finding a true love partner and finding a meaningful and valuable life? Sahara's three hairs symbolize the nature of loving freedom. Together with the natural beauty of the Sahara desert, they remain in our hearts that love freedom and truth and nature, and will not be forgotten after vicissitudes.
