Danshan Chishui Scenic Area is located in Shilin Village, Dalan Town, 45 kilometers away from Yuyao City. The scenic spot covers an area of 6.05 square kilometers and is the first scenic spot in Yuyao.

The scenic spot is located in the hinterland of Siming Mountain with a pleasant climate. It is a scenic spot based on canyon landscape, with Taoist culture and ancient village customs in eastern Zhejiang as its cultural connotation, featuring cliffs, strange rocks, ancient bridges, streams and waterfalls. Taoism respects it as the ninth hole.

The scenic spot consists of more than 30 scenic spots, including Chishui Mountain, Eagle Cave, Lion King Wudao, Danshui Waterfall, Eight Diagrams Sendai, Fairy Guide, Long Beach in Autumn Water and Four Ming Dow Views. There are many peaks in the area, with towering old trees, bamboo trees covering the sky and gurgling streams. Shilin village, where the scenic spot is located, is surrounded by mountains, surrounded by bamboo forests, with flowing springs and flowers. It is not only beautiful, but also primitive and simple, and the original appearance of the mountain residence is well preserved. There is only one surname in the village, Shen Shi. According to genealogy records, Shen Shi's ancestor was the tenth son of Zhou Wenwang, and he was named Emperor of God, so he took the fief as his surname, and his descendants came here to live in seclusion. There is an ancient well in the village, which is clear and pure, warm in winter and cool in summer, and it is the drinking water source of the whole village. Therefore, there is a saying that "one village, one family, one ancient well and one village". There are towering old trees and green cages around the village. There is a dark forest next to the entrance road of Lion Mountain behind Shilin Ancient Village. In this forest, there is a Millennium peach blossom, an ancient Jinsong and five ancient torreya grandis. These ancient trees have thick trunks and need several people to surround them. Their roots are bare and covered with old spots. Although it has experienced wind, frost, rain and snow, it is still lush and stands proudly in the sky. People take Gu Jinsong as the TOEFL, the ancient torreya grandis as the reward and the white peach tree as the longevity tree, so this scenic spot is named "Fu Lu Shou Yuan" and the locals call it "Seven Trees". There are persimmon trees in the village at most, everywhere outside the village, in front of and behind the house. The annual output of persimmons in this village is more than 200,000 Jin. Some persimmon trees are over 300 years old with their arms folded, and the largest yield per plant is 1000 kilograms. Every late autumn, outside the village, up and down the hillside, red persimmons are covered with branches, such as countless small red lanterns, and the red maple in Lin Mang is like fire. Against the background of green trees, it is a beautiful autumn scenery. In addition to persimmons, there are abundant mountain cloud teas-Siming Stegosaurus and bamboo shoots.

There is a big stream below the village. Because the stream flows through the red soil layer and is slightly red under the red rock, it is called Chishui River. Downstream, followed by Baihutan, Qinglongtan, Huagaitan, Linglongtan and Qiushui Long Beach. The pools vary in height and are scattered. The stream flows into the pool, and due to the large drop, it forms a multi-level waterfall. The crash of water hitting the boulder in the stream echoed in the valley; The water mist aroused by the impact rises in the valley, forming a charming spectacle of the valley. There is a stone arch bridge built in the ninth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1859), which is a single-hole steep arch with an arch height of10m. The center of the bridge deck is paved with a slate engraved with lotus patterns, and there are stone guardrails on both sides, which are connected by tenons and mortises, and the words "Chishui Bridge" are engraved in the center. When crossing the bridge, the cliff is several miles wide and more than 100 meters high, and the rock wall is also red, which is called Dan Cliff. Legend has it that ancient immortals killed sheep here and dyed rocks and streams red, so it is also called killing sheep rock. There are wild flowers and miscellaneous trees between the rock cracks, which are red and green with the rock wall and reflect Chishui. The scenery is very beautiful, hence the name Danshan Chishui, and the four characters "Danshan Chishui" are engraved on the cliff of Song Huizong.

On a cliff near Shilin village, there are two high rocks. Below is a rectangular stone pillar, and at the top is a square stone, which is slightly inclined and crumbling. Locals call it "building rocks". According to legend, Lv Dongbin traveled to Dalan, and when he saw the villagers carrying loads, it was very difficult to cross the ridge. He felt very sorry and wanted to build a bridge between two mountains. He just moved two huge stones as the bridge foundation, but was recalled by the Jade Emperor. The bridge was not built, only these two stones were left. Because of the actions of immortals, it is also called "immortals stacking stones". Now from a distance, it's like a fairy standing on the top of the mountain, looking east at the sea.

Legend has it that there is another scenic spot related to Lv Dongbin. There is a prominent rock in the middle of the west cliff of Shilin village, with a big head and a sharp root, like the sharp mouth of a giant eagle. There is a cave under the sharp mouth, like the open mouth of a giant eagle. Locals call it Eagle Cave. Legend has it that the condor in the sky can't stand the loneliness of the heavenly palace. Once, the Queen Mother held a flat peach party, and the immortals sneaked out of heaven and went to visit immortals in the underworld. When I came here, I couldn't help cheering when I saw the beautiful scenery. Who knows that the jaw dislocated and could not be reset, and a cave was formed over time. After Lv Dongbin Xianyou came here, he stayed in the cave and saved a mountaineer with the spring water in the cave. As soon as this incident came out, the local villagers said that there were bodhisattvas in the cave, offering incense, and they all went into the cave to get water as a good medicine for treating diseases. The wonder of Chishui in Danshan lies in some small holes in the rock wall, which can blow out breezes and blow gently in midsummer. It's winter and December, and the wind is very warm. Not only the scenic spots, but also the farmhouse rooms in the village have this strange situation.
