Who knows the main points of fire safety precautions?

Escape rehearsal, keep calm in a crisis

Everyone should know the structure and escape route of the building where they work, study or live, and organize emergency escape drills when necessary to familiarize everyone with the fire-fighting facilities and self-help escape methods in the building. In this way, when there is a fire, you won't feel cornered.

Be familiar with the environment and memorize the exit.

When you are in a strange environment, such as staying in a hotel, visiting a shopping mall, or entering an entertainment place, you must pay attention to the evacuation route, safety exit, and the orientation of stairs for your own safety, so that you can escape from the scene as soon as possible at a critical time. Please remember: feel at ease, be prepared for danger in times of peace, and reserve a passage for yourself.

7) Channel exit, clear.

Stairs, passages, exits, etc. It is the most important escape route in case of fire. They should be kept clear, and sundries should not be piled up or locked, so as to pass safely and quickly in an emergency. Please remember: if you kill yourself, you will die.

8) Put out small fires for the benefit of others.

When a fire breaks out, if it is found that the fire is not big and poses no great threat to human beings, and there are enough fire extinguishing equipment around, such as fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, we should try our best to control and put out the small fire; Don't make a hullabaloo about in panic, run around, and a small fire is left unattended, which will lead to great disaster. Please remember: race against time to put out the "first fire"

9) Keep calm, recognize the direction and evacuate quickly.

In case of sudden fire, in the face of smoke and fire, we should first force ourselves to remain calm, quickly judge the dangerous place and safe place, decide the escape mode and evacuate the dangerous place as soon as possible. Don't blindly follow people, crowd each other and rush about. When evacuating, you should pay attention to running to a bright or open place outdoors and try to run below the floor. If the passage has been blocked by fireworks, you should leave with your back to the direction of fireworks and escape to the outside through balconies, transoms, roofs, etc. Please remember: only when people are calm can they come up with a good solution.

10) Don't venture into dangerous places and don't be greedy for property.

In a fire, human life is the most important. If you are in danger, you should evacuate as soon as possible. Don't waste precious escape time on dressing up or looking for or moving valuables because you are shy or worried about valuables. People who have fled the danger must not return to the danger zone and be trapped. Please remember: if you stay in the green hills, you are not afraid of running out of firewood.

1 1) When you escape through a route full of smoke, you should prevent smoke poisoning and suffocation. In order to prevent the smoke from choking in the fire, you can cover your nose with a towel and a mask and climb away. Smoke is lighter than air and floats in the upper part. Evacuation near the ground is the best way to avoid inhaling smoke and filter out toxic gases. Wear protective equipment such as gas mask, helmet, flame retardant and heat insulation clothing when crossing the fireworks blockade area. If you don't have these protective equipment, you can pour cold water on your head and body or wrap your head and body with wet towels, wet quilts and wet blankets before rushing out. Please remember: it is better to have more protective tools in your hand than to be unarmed.

Make good use of the passage and don't get into the elevator.

Buildings designed and built according to codes and standards will have more than two escape stairs, passages or safety exits. In case of fire, you should choose to enter the relatively safe stairwell according to the situation. In addition to stairs, you can use the balcony, windowsill, skylight and roof of the building to climb to the surrounding safe place, or you can slide down the stairs to escape along the protrusions in the building structure such as downpipes and lightning wires. In high-rise buildings, in case of fire, the power supply system of the elevator will be cut off at any time, or the elevator will be deformed due to high temperature, and people will be trapped in the elevator. At the same time, because the elevator shaft runs through all floors like a chimney, toxic smoke directly threatens the life safety of trapped people. Therefore, never take the ordinary elevator to escape. Please remember: it is extremely dangerous to take the elevator when you escape.

Escape slowly, and slide the rope to save yourself.

High-rise and multi-storey public buildings are generally equipped with high-altitude descent devices or lifeline, through which people can safely leave dangerous floors. Without these special facilities, and the safe passage has been blocked, and rescuers can't arrive in time, you can quickly use ropes or simple life-saving ropes made by yourself, such as sheets, curtains, clothes, etc., wet them with water, and slowly slide from the windowsill or balcony along the rope to a lower floor or ground to escape safely. Please remember: be bold and cautious. The lifeline is in sight.

Shelter, insist on waiting for help

If you feel hot when you touch the door with your hand, once you open the door at this time, flames and smoke are bound to come. The escape route was cut off and there was no rescue for a short time. At this time, we can take measures to create shelters and stick to those who are waiting for help. First of all, close the doors and windows facing the fire, open the doors and windows facing the fire, block the doors with a wet towel or a wet cloth or cover the doors and windows with a quilt soaked with water, and then continuously drench them with water to prevent fireworks from infiltrating and sticking indoors until rescuers arrive.

Slow down and throw, ask for help.

People trapped by fireworks who can't escape temporarily should try to stay in balconies, windows and other places that are easy to be found and can avoid close contact with fireworks. During the day, you can throw bright clothes out of the window or throw light and dazzling things outside; At night, you can use a flashlight to keep flashing or knocking on things in the window, and send out an effective distress signal in time to attract the attention of rescuers. Because firefighters grope along the wall when entering the room, when they are suffocated by smoke and lose their ability to save themselves, they should try to roll to the wall or door to facilitate firefighters to find and rescue; In addition, rolling to the wall can also prevent the building structure from collapsing and hurting yourself. Please remember: only by fully exposing yourself can we strive to save ourselves effectively.

The fire has burned you, so don't run away.

If people on the fire spot find themselves on fire, never run or beat with their hands, because running or beating will form wind, accelerate oxygen replenishment and promote the fire. When the clothes on your body are on fire, you should try to take off your clothes or roll on the spot to suppress the flame; It is more effective to jump into the water in time or have someone water it and spray fire extinguishing agent on your body. Please remember: it's embarrassing to roll on the spot, but fire can be avoided.

Jumping off a building is skillful, although it will hurt survival.

People in the smoke of fire often fall into extreme terror and are close to collapse mentally, and panic can easily lead to desperate harmful behaviors, such as jumping off a building to escape. It should be noted that only when firefighters prepare life-saving air cushions and command to jump off a building, or the floor is not high (generally below the fourth floor), they will be burned to death if they don't jump off a building. Even if there is no way out, if life is not seriously threatened, we should calmly wait for the rescue of firefighters. You should also talk about skills when jumping off a building. When jumping off a building, try to jump into the middle of the life-saving air cushion or choose the direction of pool, hood and grass. If possible, try to hold some soft objects such as quilts and sofa cushions tightly or open a big umbrella to jump down to slow down the impact. If you jump off a building with your bare hands, you must scrape the windowsill or balcony, let your body droop naturally and try to reduce the vertical distance. Before landing, put your head in your hands and bend your body into a ball to reduce injuries. Although jumping off a building can survive, it will do some harm to the body, so be careful. Please remember: jumping off a building is not suicide, the key is to have a way.

Fire and smoke kill people invisibly

In the "2. 15" fire in Zhong Bai Commercial Building, Jilin City, most of the people who died at the scene were poisoned by smoke suffocation. The main component of smoke in fire is carbon powder, and there are a lot of toxic gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, which are very harmful to human body. According to some data, the casualties caused by lack of oxygen and smoke can reach 50% of the fire deaths. —80%。

So, what are the main hazards of smog? First, when the oxygen content in flue gas is lower than normal, people's activity ability will be weakened, their intelligence will be confused, and even they will faint and suffocate. When the content of various toxic gases in flue gas exceeds the minimum concentration allowed by normal physiology, it will cause poisoning death; Second, the darkening of smoke affects the safe evacuation and fire fighting. The smoke particles in the smoke greatly reduce the visibility of visible light, and the smoke greatly stimulates people's eyes, making people unable to open their eyes and affecting the evacuation speed; Third, the terror of smoke causes psychological panic. Especially when flashover occurs, flames and smoke rush out of doors and windows, and the fire is fierce and smoke billows, which makes people feel great fear and causes confusion during evacuation.

Therefore, how to prevent fire smoke is very important for people to escape. Experience tells us that once trapped by fire, smoke prevention measures should be taken regardless of whether there is smoke nearby. The simplest method is the towel smoke prevention method. When the towel is folded, covering your nose and mouth will play a good role in preventing smoking. If the dry towel is folded 16 layer, the smoke elimination rate can reach above 90%. It is appropriate to fold a towel for 8 layers, when the smoke elimination rate is above 60%. The experiment shows that in this case, people walk slowly in the 15 meter corridor full of strong irritating smoke, and there is no irritating feeling; Wet towels will increase breathing resistance, leading to breathing difficulties. Therefore, when using a wet towel, the water content of the towel should be controlled below 3 times the weight of the towel itself. When covering your nose and mouth with a towel, you must make the area for filtering smoke as large as possible, and cover your nose and mouth tightly to avoid burning the respiratory system by hot air. Don't take the towel away from your nose and mouth even if you feel increased respiratory resistance when passing through the smoke area. Once taken out, it may cause poisoning immediately. When rescuing people trapped in a fire, cover the face and head of the rescued person with a towel to avoid being burned when crossing the fire area. If the rescued person has been burned, you can also cover the wound with a towel to prevent the wound from being infected by smoke particles.

Ten tips for family fire emergency

First, the initial fire is the easiest to put out. Before the arrival of the fire truck, if we can concentrate on rescue, we can often save the day and turn the corner.

Second, call the police early, and the earlier the alarm, the smaller the loss. Remember the "1 19" fire call?

Third, we must put out the fire first, and then carry the property. A slight delay will easily lead to great disaster. In case of fire, it is not advisable to rescue the property first, which may choke to death or lose the chance of escape.

Four, calm down, strictly abide by the order, in order to retreat safely in the fire. If we rush to each other, crowd each other, block the passage, and lead to self-trampling, it will cause undue tragedy.

The passage downstairs was blocked by fire. When there is no way out, tear the quilt sheets and tablecloths into cloth to form a rope, fasten the windowsill, cover your palm with a skirt and slide down the rope.

Six, the adjacent room is on fire, don't open the door, should jump out of the window balcony, call for help or use the former method to escape. Otherwise, hot smoke will take advantage of it and make people suffocate.

Seven, when the smoke is thick, don't panic, it is advisable to use knees and elbows to land and crawl forward, because there is often fresh air nearby. Be careful. Breathe small and shallow.

Eight, in the case of going upstairs, you must hold your breath and go upstairs. Because the speed of smoke rising is 3-5 meters per second, while the speed of people going upstairs is 3-5 meters per second, and the speed of people going upstairs is 0.5 meters per second.

9. When fleeing, cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel. You can also cover your mouth and nose with water from vases, kettles and goldfish bowls in your room to wet clothes and fabrics. When you take your baby to escape, you can gently cover his face with a wet cloth, hold him in one hand and grab the thread in the other to escape.

Before you escape, be sure to close the door of the room with fire. Especially in buildings and hotels with more residents, this measure can limit the flame and smoke in one room, prevent them from spreading rapidly, and win valuable time for yourself and everyone.

How to prevent fire in dormitory?

Dormitory fires are mostly caused by people's irregular behavior, so we should do:

1, don't use high-power electrical appliances such as electric furnace, quick heater and electric heater, so as to avoid circuit overload and fire;

2, don't pull wires in the room, in order to avoid circuit winding lap caused by fire;

3. Don't smoke in the dormitory;

Don't light candles in the dormitory after turning off the lights at night.

Misunderstanding of people's psychology and behavior in fire

The degree of fear and terror varies from person to person. On the other hand, like a rational judgment representing everyone's personality, when it disappears, it becomes a person without personality. These people gather in groups, sharing their anxiety and horror, and showing their unique psychology during the fire, which will lead to a more serious disaster than the fire itself. This crowd is an unorganized group composed of unrelated people. When there is chaos, if there is no one to rely on, it will inevitably fall into the surrounding atmosphere. Because of the anxiety of * * *, it is easy to listen to rumors or misguided. Psychologically speaking, people have the following characteristics:

1, there are * * * issues of concern together.

The formation of this group is accidental and temporary. This is a group with no shared tasks. Easily influenced by the feelings of people around you.

2. Willing to be close to the crowd.

Due to some primitive difficulties, people gathered together. The psychology of these assembled people has played a multiplier role. In case of fire, smoke, smell, power failure, noise and other conditions often lead to panic. In places with inside information, when people can't make a calm judgment on the situation, they often come back online as soon as they come in.

Step 3: Face the sunshine.

In daily life, people live in bright environment most of the time except sleeping. Everyone has an uneasy feeling about the darkness. Therefore, when the sudden smoke blocks the line of sight and falls into a dark world that cannot be illuminated, it is customary to flee in the direction of light.

4. Avoid danger.

When there is smoke and fire, you often run in the direction where you can't see smoke and fire. Evacuation has become a simple action, focusing only on immediate dangers. Chased by smoke and fire, in the absence of other escape routes, people often take unexpected impulsive behaviors such as jumping off a building.

5. Follow the crowd.

I don't judge the direction of escape by myself, but follow the people in front or most people at will.

6. others.

Due to the stimulation of smoke and fire, judgment is weakened, and when people feel unwell, people will panic, thus delaying the opportunity to take evacuation action. One of the factors can lead to panic.

(1) evacuation motivation

When there is a fire, when people are in the environment of smoke and fire, in order to avoid danger, evacuation should be taken. At this time, the mood is different, and some people will fall into a state of being at a loss when they see smoke and fire.

(2) External conditions

When evacuating, if the power is cut off and screams or roars are heard, it will often lead to panic.

(3) Provide fire information and induce evacuation.

When evacuating, if the information is unavailable or incorrect, people can't evacuate, the fire scene changes, and the actions of evacuees are not uniform, which will aggravate anxiety and eventually lead to panic.

(4) Obstacles in the evacuation process

When the evacuation passage is blocked by smoke and fire, the evacuation door is locked, or there are obstacles, the evacuees run around and knock each other down, which makes them more psychologically panic and eventually fall into a panic state.

Once panic occurs due to the above reasons, it is difficult for people to accept external control. When these people who have lost their normal judgment get together, sometimes it will lead to extremely painful disasters.

How to make a fire alarm call?

(1) After the fire alarm call is issued, the detailed address, community, street and house number of the fire unit, etc. It should be made clear;

(2) It is necessary to find out what is on fire and the fire situation;

(3) To distinguish between a bungalow and a building, it is best to distinguish the location of the fire, the burning substance and the burning situation;

(4) The alarm person shall specify his name, unit and telephone number;

(5) After the alarm, assign a special person to wait for the arrival of the fire truck at the intersection, and guide the fire truck to the scene of the fire, so as to arrive at the scene of the fire quickly and accurately. It is the responsibility of every citizen to call the police in time when a fire alarm is found.

It is illegal to lie about a fire alarm.

Article 2 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security stipulates that whoever disturbs public order or impairs public safety, but not serious enough for criminal punishment, shall be punished in accordance with the Regulations on Administrative Penalties for Public Security. In the past, some people who lied about fires were punished by administrative detention, fines and warnings.

What should I do if I hear a fire alarm while sleeping?

When they fell asleep and heard the alarm signal, many people opened the door in panic and tried to rush out at once. This is very dangerous. The correct way is:

(1) Climb to the bedroom door and try whether the door is hot with the back of your hand;

(2) prepare wet towels;

(3) Make your own lifeline, but don't jump off a building;

(4) Use natural conditions as life-saving slideways.

How to correctly judge the fire situation in the compartment?

When a fire breaks out in a separated room, if the closed door is opened rashly, it will often be attacked by fierce high temperature and smoke, so that it will not only be impossible to escape but also close the door again, which will lead to a fire.

To judge the fire situation of partitioned rooms, the following methods can be generally adopted. When the handle of the facade is heating up, it means that there is a serious fire in the partition door. Touch the facade to determine whether the temperature rise should be as high as possible from the ground. It is very effective for hollow metal doors to feel the facade temperature away from the door periphery. However, it is really ineffective for insulating metal fire doors and solid wood doors, so sometimes the cold facade can't guarantee the safety of the doors. It is an effective method to check whether there is smoke flowing in from the crack of the door. Most of the smoke should flow in from the top of the door. However, it is not always reliable to determine the fire threat only by smoke when the ventilation system of the house is running or a fire-resistant hard door closing device is installed. When the facade is exposed to the flame for less than 1 min, the temperature of the mortar bottom of the metal door handle can be felt, so it is usually an effective and reliable method to detect whether there is a fire in the partition door by touching the mortar bottom of the all-metal door.

What should I do if I catch fire when I escape?

Never run after people catch fire, because the more you run, the more prosperous you will be. This is because when people run, they accelerate air convection and promote combustion, and the fire will be more fierce. Running, not only can't put out the fire, but it will take the fire to other places, and it may also expand the fire, which is very dangerous. Should:

(1) Try to undress first, immerse in water or stamp it out with your feet;

(2) If it is too late to undress, you can also lie on the ground and crush the flames on your body;

(3) You can jump into nearby pools and ponds to put out the fire. If the burn area is large, do not jump into the water to prevent infection;

(4) Don't spray the fire extinguisher directly on the burning person, because most fire extinguishers will cause burn wound infection.

Smoke prevents people from escaping mainly in the following aspects.

(1) Toxicity of flue gas. Although not all the components in smoke are toxic, non-toxic gases can also hinder people's breathing, reduce the concentration of oxygen in the air, and lead people to die of lack of oxygen.

(2) Attenuation of flue gas. The darkening of smoke means that smoke reduces people's visibility, makes people unable to escape from the fire quickly, and increases the possibility of poisoning and burns.

(3) the horror of smoke. Once a fire breaks out, especially after a plane crash, flames and smoke rush out of doors and windows, and the smoke billows and the flames are soaring, which makes people feel a sense of terror, often leading to chaos in the evacuation process, which makes some people lose their normal activity ability, and some even lose their senses and fall into panic.

How to use wet towels to prevent smoking

(1) The number of folding layers depends on the texture of the towel. Generally, it is advisable to fold 8 layers of towels, so that the smoke concentration elimination rate can reach 60%.

(2) Towels don't need to be wet.

(3) Cover your nose and mouth when using, and increase the area of smoke as much as possible.

How to call for help when people are trapped indoors in a fire?

When a fire breaks out, the situation is complicated, people are trapped indoors, sometimes they don't know the surrounding fire situation and can't leave the fire for a while. Because of the fierce fire, doors and windows are closed, it is easy to get lost in the smoke.

People were trapped in the building by the fire and called for help outside, which was difficult for outsiders to hear. Because the raging fire has formed a wall of fire, it is actually very difficult to call for help. People trapped at this moment should keep calm, and people should lie on the ground and call for help. Because the fire rises along the airflow, in low places, combustible materials have been burned or unburned, and sound waves for help can be transmitted through these gaps. In this way, it is easy for the outside world to hear the cry for help and rescue it in time.

How to choose the refuge room, we should pay attention to the following points.

(1) Choose a room facing the street, because it is convenient to observe the fire, and you can get in touch with rescuers through shouting and gestures, which is of great benefit to timely rescue.

(2) Choose a room with a balcony.

(3) Choose a room that is easy to enter from the stairwell.

What should we pay attention to whether we jump off a building or die?

(1) Some soft items such as quilts and sofa cushions should be reported, which can slow down the impact.

(2) Choose to jump downstairs to the asbestos tile carport, flower garden grass, pool river or leafy trees to reduce casualties.

(3) When jumping with bare hands, hold your head tightly, bend your body and roll it into a ball, which can reduce the possibility of your head falling to the ground.

Don't "return" to the building easily

If there is smoke in the building, people can't go back to the building because they may encounter new dangers. Especially in the development stage of fire, when you return to the building, you may be experiencing the phenomenon of combustible "falling", that is, the fire will fill the whole space and there is little hope of escape again. Even after the fire has been put out, you should be cautious when you return to the building, especially when there is still heavy smoke, because the temperature of the fire is still very high, and if there is wind, there will be "ashes" revived, and it is still difficult to escape. So, don't go back to the building easily! Ask the fire department for approval when necessary, and return when there is no danger in the building.

What's behind the cigarette butt?

Cigarette butts are small, and the potential danger is really great. The burning state of cigarettes can be divided into free burning and smoking burning. Of course, these two kinds of combustion are carried out alternately. The maximum temperature of cigarette combustion varies with different kinds of cigarettes, so the temperature in each combustion area is also different. Generally speaking, the temperature of the cigarette center is 800-900℃, and the temperature of the burning edge of the roll paper is 200-300℃. The central temperature is higher when smoking than when burning freely. In order to keep the cigarette burning, the central part must be above 700℃. Wind speed also has an effect on cigarette burning. It is easy to burn when the wind speed is 1.5 m/s, and it is easy to extinguish when the wind speed reaches 3.0 m/s.

The free burning speed of cigarettes is also related to the place where they are placed. When they are placed horizontally, it takes 14- 15 minutes to burn to one end of the cigarette filter, and when they are placed vertically, it takes 12- 13 minutes to burn to the filter from bottom to top.

According to the experiment, it takes 3-7 minutes for cigarettes to ignite cotton wool and kapok, and only 1 minute for acrylic fiber to ignite. Therefore, it is not surprising that littering cigarette butts can easily lead to fires.

According to statistics, smoking accounts for 26% of family fires in Japan. In American family fires, smoking accounts for 29. 1%. Many people in these countries die every year because of fires caused by careless smoking or littering cigarette butts.

Under what circumstances is smoking easy to cause fire?

(1) Smoking in bed or sofa.

(2) casually, regardless of the occasion, casually throw cigarette butts and match stalks.

(3) Smoking while maintaining cars and cleaning parts.

(4) When looking for something with a cigarette in his mouth, soot falls on combustible materials, causing a fire.

(5) Ignoring the occasion and place, knocking on the ash randomly causes a fire.

(6) In a hurry, put the unlit cigarette butt into the pocket of the clothes, and as a result, the clothes are ignited and caught fire.

(7) Put the lit cigarettes on flammable materials such as desks and boxes, and the fireworks will not go out after people leave, causing a fire; Or because cigarette butts are blown off by the wind, combustible materials cause fires.

(8) Improper use of lighters causes fire.

(9) Smoking in places where fireworks are strictly prohibited, causing fire and explosion accidents.

Can you make a lampshade out of paper?

Make a lampshade out of paper, will you? No Why? Because after the bulb is electrified, the surface temperature of the bulb is relatively high. The higher the power of the bulb, the higher the surface temperature of the bulb. The light bulb became a dangerous fire source. Ordinary paper will burn at about 130℃. Therefore, using paper as a lampshade is easy to catch fire and unsafe.

What fire prevention problems should be paid attention to after power failure?

(1) Use emergency lighting if possible, and try not to use naked flame. If the conditions are limited, use open flames such as oil lamps and candles for lighting, and stay away from flammable materials such as mosquito nets, door curtains, books and newspapers.

(2) Emergency lighting with oil lamps and candles must be guarded so that people can put out the fire when they leave or sleep.

(3) Don't look for things under the bed, in cabinets and in narrow places with candles and oil lamps, so as not to accidentally cause fires with less combustible materials.

(4) Unplug the power plugs of electric irons, soldering irons and electric blankets in time to prevent fires caused by rising temperature after long-term electrification.

(5) Unplug the power plug of the TV, tape recorder and stereo in time to prevent the insulation from being short-circuited for a long time after the call and causing a fire.

(6) For oil lamps, try to use oil lamps with glass covers.

Is there any knowledge about lighting mosquito-repellent incense?

In hot summer, many families order mosquito-repellent incense. Mosquito-repellent incense sticks are very small and often do not attract people's attention. Facts show that if we don't pay attention to fire prevention, lighting mosquito-repellent incense will also lead to fire, resulting in an uncontrollable situation. Someone said it well, "Pay attention to the stove in September and the mosquito-repellent incense in summer."

The flame core temperature of a lighted mosquito-repellent incense can reach 200-300℃, which exceeds the ignition temperature of cotton cloth, paper, wood and other articles used in daily life at home, so we should not be careless.

Please pay attention to the following points when ordering mosquito-repellent incense:

(1) The lit mosquito-repellent incense should be placed on a metal bracket or a metal plate, and keep a certain distance from flammable materials such as tables, chairs, beds and mosquito nets.

(2) The lit mosquito-repellent incense should be placed in a place where it is not easy to be knocked down by people or blown down by the wind.

(3) When there are flammable liquids (gasoline, alcohol, etc.). ) and indoor flammable gas, it is not advisable to light mosquito-repellent incense indoors.

(4) Pay attention to check the lighted mosquito-repellent incense before going to bed. Don't go to bed until you are safe.

Fire safety measures of hair dryer

When the hair dryer is powered on, people can't leave, let alone put it on flammable materials such as bed boards, tables and stools, sofas and mattresses. Remember to unplug the power cord from the power outlet after using the hair dryer. Remember to unplug it in case of temporary power failure or hair dryer failure.

How to prevent the electric mattress from catching fire?

At present, there are mainly four kinds of electric mattresses sold in the market: diode half-wave rectifier temperature regulation type, temperature regulation type that changes the resistance of heating elements, temperature regulation safety type with transformer step-down and ordinary type. Ordinary electric mattress is easy to cause fire, so you must pay attention to fire prevention when using electric mattress.

(1) Before using the electric mattress, be sure to see if the voltage is the same as the room power supply. Experiments show that the 220-volt ordinary electric mattress is electrified for a long time, and the heating wire heats up. Its heating rate depends on voltage change, heat dissipation, electric mattress material and dry and wet conditions. When the temperature of the electric mattress rises to 200℃, the surface of the mattress begins to smoke, and at 250℃, smoke and flame appear, causing a fire.

(2) The electric mattress should be protected from moisture. When the electric mattress is wet, it is easy to destroy the thermal insulation performance of the electric mattress and cause leakage.

(3) Reduce the folding times, avoid the breakage of the heating wire, and prevent short circuit and overheating.

(4) The electric mattress should be used according to the instructions, and the power-on time should not be too long.

(5) Ordinary electric mattresses should not be used with other heat sources such as thermos bottles to avoid local overheating.

(6) Be sure to unplug the electric mattress after use.

Can TV sets also cause fires?

There are many reasons for TV fire, including electricity and TV installation errors. Most of them are caused by continuous use of TV sets for a long time, poor ventilation and unplugging the power plug after watching TV. What if the TV is on fire?

(1) Unplug the power plug first.

(2) Cover the TV with a thick quilt, and do not use chemical fiber fabrics to prevent ignition.

(3) Dry powder fire extinguishers and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers can be used to extinguish the fire.

(4) When putting out the fire, people should approach the TV from the side of the TV to prevent the CRT from exploding.

(5) If the fire cannot be put out, call the police immediately "1 19".
