In February, 2004, Fujian People's Publishing House published Oracle Bone Inscriptions Collection of Yin Ruins revised by Mr. Bai Yulan. The author, Bai Yulan, is a doctor of Mr. Lin Yun of Jilin University, and now works in South China Normal University. This book was revised and supplemented by the author on the basis of his doctoral thesis.

This book has revised the problems existing in the description and interpretation of Oracle Bone Inscriptions Collected Works of Yin Ruins published by 1988, including 2684 Collected Works of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, 42 Collected Works of Xiaotun Nandi Oracle Bone Inscriptions, 34 Collected Works of English Oracle Bones and 60 Collected Works of Oriental Culture Institute of Tokyo University. The reasons for these mistakes are that there is no clear reference and use of old rubbings, there are not many examples, there are some examples that are not fully grasped in Oracle Bone Inscriptions, and there are some carelessness. In view of this, the author makes full use of the rubbings in the old explanatory text in the revision process, compares them with the heavy rubbings in the Collection of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, and revises the description of Oracle Bone Inscriptions fragment with complete examples and Oracle Bone Inscriptions cases. This book is not only a good reference for professionals in Oracle Bone Inscriptions, but also a must-read for non-professional readers.

The writing style of this book first lists the copy and interpretation of the Collection of Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Yin Ruins, and then adds the author's revision opinions to facilitate readers' comparative reading.

Mr. Jelly Lin's evaluation is: "On the basis of fully checking Oracle Bone Inscriptions's old descriptions and absorbing the latest academic research results, this paper has made a detailed study and corrigendum on the Collection of Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Yin Ruins. When I wrote the above passage, my doctoral student, Magnolia grandiflora, was describing the Collection of Oracle Bone Inscriptions in V Yin Ruins: Revision, and began to write his doctoral thesis. Judging from the actual work situation, it is very difficult for one person to complete all the proofreading and copying of a big book that was originally completed by six people and copied by one full-time person. As far as the same edition of Oracle bones collected in other records is concerned, the material source table of Oracle Bone Inscriptions Collection was not published at that time. Although it received a gift from Mr. Zhong from Taipei Institute of History and Linguistics, Xiao Tun Yi Bian was reprinted according to the original appearance of the rubbings, and the description of the old Oracle bones in Jilin University Library was quite complete. However, it takes a lot of effort to find the same version of Oracle bones collected with Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Magnolia grandiflora can only find clues by comparing the oracles of Yin Ruins in Shima Bangnan and Yao Xiaosui. Of course, there will be many omissions, and the correction can not be done only by checking the original records, but involves many basic skills of Oracle bones. But he has great perseverance and patience to do his best in this field, and I think others can't understand the hardships.
