Shangsha, called Changsha in ancient times, is also called Shaxi. Ancestors have been so named because their family lives in Changsha, a coastal area.

As early as eight or nine hundred years ago, a village was formed here, because it has an excellent geographical position and is backed by mountains and seas, so it can be cultivated and fished. People surnamed Cao, Liang, Wang, Jiang and Gan all live in this village. Later, Sun moved in from other places, and his descendants were numerous and the most popular. Now there are only Cao and Liang surnames in Shangsha Village besides Sun.

Sun Shi's ancestor Chang Degong was influenced by Zhang Shicheng, Zhu Yuanzhang and other national revolutionary thoughts at the end of Yuan Dynasty (about AD 1350). Sun Changde moved from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province to Nanxiong Zhuji Lane, and the Ming Dynasty was appreciated by Bohe Town in Dongguan. He was hired as a teacher and moved with his family to Yuantoushan Town (He Zhen's hometown, now two towns of Chashan, Huang Wu and Liu Wu).

Later, Sun Guihua, the second son of Sun Changde, moved from Yuanyuanshan to Shangsha, 35 kilometers away. At that time, Shangsha was already inhabited. Later, Jiang's surname (also moved from Hangzhou) and Ren's surname moved in one after another and became a village.
