Hotel management should belong to an employment direction of tourism management subordinates. I think there are generally two reasons why your family doesn't agree with you in this line of work. First, the hotel management industry is a high-pressure and unstable industry type, with high concentration of talents and great transfer between industries. If many hotel managers want to get a higher level of development, they have to accept regional rotation and overseas training and go to some areas that are not particularly safe for store management.

Secondly, the hotel management industry is now more or less a tainted industry, because some illegal gambling drugs are related to the hotel management industry, especially the first point, so parents who may not understand this industry do not want their children to engage in similar industries.

My point is to look at your attitude first. After all, the employment path of tourism management major is not particularly narrow, and some tourism culture enterprises are more standardized to some extent. It is also a long process for hotel management to rise from stores to headquarters management positions. Generally, I need at least 3-5 years experience as a store manager, which is very tiring. And it's not like ordinary white-collar workers have a fixed holiday to get off work.
