Shaanxi announced the archaeological achievements of Ganquan Palace where Yue Yun seduced and killed Wang Yiqu.

In the legend of Mi Yue, Mi Yue seduced King Itraconazole and finally killed him in Ganquan Palace. Do you know where Ganquan Palace is and what is its present situation? On February 7, 65438, Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology announced the archaeological investigation results of Ganquan Palace.

The picture comes from the internet.

Ganquan Palace Site is located in the north of Chunhua County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. As the saying goes, "The first emperor wanted to travel around the world, but he went to Jiuyuan to reach Ganquan, which was the passage of Meng Tian, from Jiuyuan to Ganquan, in the moat valley, with a distance of 800 miles". Therefore, it is generally believed that the ruins of Ganquan Palace are the starting point of the road. In, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty "built Ganquan Palace, which contained a stage room, painted heaven and earth, and set ritual vessels to worship the gods." Speaking of the Western Han Emperor's access to Ganquan Palace, he said: "Five years since Emperor Gaozu, 26 years since Emperor Wendi, 75 years since Emperor Wudi, 25 years since Xuan Di, the first year of Yuan Dynasty." It can be seen that the prosperity and importance of Ganquan Palace in the Western Han Dynasty is not the general nature of leaving the palace.

After investigation, there are large rammed earth platforms, Xicheng city walls, Xichengmen ruins and stone bears on the surface of Ganquangong site in the Western Han Dynasty. Over the years, many stone pillars, stone aprons, hollow bricks and tiles have been found in and around the site. In 2006, it was announced as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

In 20 15, archaeologists completed the drone shooting of Ganquan Palace site with an area of 8 square kilometers and the topographic mapping of 2 square kilometers, with the scale of 1:2000. At present, the general exploration area is 400,000 square meters, and the key exploration area is 6,543,800 square meters. Five large building sites and many relics were found around pier 1 and pier 2, including 150 rammed earth foundation, 177 column foundation, 6 stone foundations, 4 treads and 3 pebbles.

Through key exploration, it is confirmed for the first time that Pier 2 is a three-layer rammed earth foundation structure with a height of about 15m. The bottom is rectangular, 74 meters long from north to south, 57 meters wide from east to west and about 2~4 meters high; The middle is approximately square, 40 meters long from north to south, 36 meters wide from east to west and about 4~6 meters high; The top is approximately square, with a length of 2 1 m from north to south, a width of 20 meters from east to west and a height of about 4-5 meters. In the center of the top platform basement, there is an approximate circular braised induration area with the longest 1 1.5m and the shortest 10m, and the depth is about 2.5-3m, so it is difficult to explore the lower part. Column foundation 18 was found on the third-floor abutment, and arc stone foundation was found on the east and north sides.

The stew soil at the top and around is deep, so it is speculated that Pier 2 was burnt. In A.D., in the second year of Han Yuanfeng, Ganquan Miyata Children's Platform was built. According to the location and shape, it is inferred that 1 pier and pier 2 are the ruins of Tiantong terrace. When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty offered sacrifices to Taiyi, he went to heaven to connect with Taiwan, recruited talented people, told stories about Hanwu, built a heaven-connected platform in Ganquan, and went down more than 100 feet underground to watch the rain and Chang 'an.
