Chongqing Hanhai Polar Marine Life Science Museum signed a formal investment cooperation agreement with the Banan District Government on September 15, 2012, and Singapore Yaotai Investment Group is responsible for the implementation of the construction. It mainly builds the Ocean Pavilion, Polar Pavilion, Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, Animal Performance Pavilion and five-star hotel. At present, preliminary work such as project establishment, planning and site selection opinions, project conceptual design plan and company industrial and commercial registration have been completed. The project is expected to start construction in September this year and be completed and open to the outside world in 2015.

The Ocean Park has a construction scale of 58,000 square meters and covers an area of ??about 170 acres; the five-star hotel has a construction scale of about 80,000 to 100,000 square meters and covers an area of ??about 50 acres. After the project is completed, it will generate about 30 million yuan in taxes every year.
