On February 20, Yantai Bank’s 2004 annual work conference was held.

On January 18, our bank’s Jintong Card was among the first batch to join the UnionPay card Hong Kong business launched by China UnionPay. Since then, cardholders with our UnionPay logo cards can make purchases at more than 4,000 merchants in Hong Kong, and can also withdraw Hong Kong dollar cash at 1,100 ATMs in Hong Kong. On December 31, the bank completed its year-end accounts. Mayor Zhou Qi of the municipal government, Secretary General Zhang Guangbo, President of the Municipal People's Bank of China Wang Xun, and Director of the Yantai Supervision Branch of the China Banking Regulatory Commission Huang Jiadong visited our bank to express their condolences.

On December 24, according to the Financial Times, our bank ranked 26th among the 50 largest commercial banks in China in 2002.

On December 20, our bank cooperated with the Yantai Municipal Sports Bureau and successfully held the 2003 Shandong Province 'Yantai Commercial Bank Cup' Bowling Classic.

On November 15, our bank’s Jintong Card joined the mobile banking bill payment service jointly launched by Bank of China Jinan Branch and China Unicom Shandong Branch.

On October 22, our bank held the second general meeting of shareholders, the first meeting of the second board of directors, and the first meeting of the second board of supervisors.

On October 10-15, after inspection and acceptance by the bank card terminal equipment inspection and acceptance team jointly formed by China UnionPay and 10 commercial banks across the country, our bank’s ATM transaction success rate ranked first in the Yantai area financial system first place.

On October 9, our bank signed a legal advisory contract with Shandong Pinghe Law Firm, with Pinghe Law Firm serving as our bank’s permanent legal advisor.

On September 22, our bank cooperated with Tiantong Securities Yantai Branch to build an investment platform. The Bank-Security Connect online trading station was established by the Tiantong Securities Beima Road Service Department Sales Department and 20 urban branches of our bank.

On September 6, our bank organized the first batch of young cadres to participate in the training class of Peking University Guanghua’s premium financial MBA course. The opening ceremony was held at the headquarters.

From August 26 to 29, President Zhuang Yonghui represented our bank at the National City Commercial Bank Work Conference and the Fourth Meeting of the National City Commercial Bank Development Forum.

On August 22, our bank was awarded the honorary title of 2002 Shandong Provincial Departmental Greening Advanced Unit by the Shandong Provincial Greening Committee.

On July 23, Yantai Bank ranked first in the accuracy ranking of government bond investment standards in the first half of the year announced by the Ministry of Finance.

On July 16, Yantai Bank signed a cost consulting business cooperation agreement with the Yantai Branch of the Cost Consulting Center of China Construction Bank Shandong Branch, which has made our bank's services more diversified and improved its service functions.

On June 26-27, Yantai Bank participated in the Bank-Enterprise Integrity Cooperation Forum jointly organized by the Yantai Municipal Government, Jinan Branch of the People's Bank of China and Bank in Shandong, and signed a loan intention and agreement of 1.9 billion yuan.

On May 28, Dajijia Branch in Yantai Bank Development Zone opened.

From May 22 to 26, 9 operating branches of Yantai Bank were upgraded to directly affiliated banks.

On May 12, Yantai Bank Yantaishan Branch and Yantai Bank Office were awarded the Municipal Youth Civilization Award.

On May 8, Yantai Bank’s internal publication “Yantai Bank Briefing” was officially launched.

On May 6, Yantai Bank signed a contract with Yantai Xinyi Tendering Co., Ltd., entrusting the company to act as the agent for Yantai Bank’s bidding agency in decoration infrastructure projects, equipment procurement, etc.

On April 28, the Yantai Bank website was officially launched

On March 3, Director Lai Xiaomin of the Second Department of Banking Supervision of the People’s Bank of China, Director Zhou Minyuan and Director Zhang Jinping of the General Affairs Department, Accompanied by President Wang Xun of the Municipal People's Bank of China, he visited Yantai Commercial Bank to inspect and guide its work.

On February 14, Yantai Bank held a bank-wide working meeting to summarize the work in 2002 and make comprehensive arrangements for the work in 2003.
