Brief introduction of Xingcheng Chrysanthemum Island

Chrysanthemum Island, commonly known as Dahaishan, was called Peach Blossom Island in Tang and Song Dynasties and Juehua Island in Liao and Jin Dynasties. Due to the blooming of wild chrysanthemums on the island, it was renamed Chrysanthemum Island in the 11th year of the Republic of China (1922) (it was renamed Juehua Island for the first time). It is also called "Three Treasures of Xingcheng" with the ancient city and hot springs. Looking from the coast of Xingcheng, Liaoning Province to the southeast sea area, a rolling mountain peak is faintly visible at the junction of the sea and the sky, with overlapping ends and a depression in the middle. This is Chrysanthemum Island. Chrysanthemum Island is located in the sea area more than 0/0 kilometers southeast of Xingcheng, 9 kilometers away from the bathing beach, and it can be reached after 50 minutes from the seaside. Chrysanthemum Island grows in gourd shape, with an area of 13.5 square kilometers, high in the south and low in the north, with the highest elevation of 198.2 meters and a coastline of 27 kilometers. It is the largest island in Bohai Bay. Its area can be called "Little Macau in the North".
