The current abbot, Master Chang Kai, whose original name is Yayun and whose common surname is Dai, is from Chengdu, Sichuan. He was born in August 1942. He was fostered in a monastery since childhood and was deeply influenced by monks. In 1981, he began to study Buddhist scriptures with great concentration, and received careful teaching and guidance from Sichuan eminent monks Puyun, Fozhi, Shengneng, Kuanren and other old masters. In 1990, he went to the Institute of Religion of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for four years of further study. In 1994, he worshiped his mentor, Elder Jinghui, at Guangji Temple in Beijing. In June of the same year, he was ordained and ordained as a monk at Bailin Zen Temple in Zhao County, Hebei Province. On March 8, 1995, he lived in Longquan Temple in Luquan City, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. In July of the same year, he received full ordination at Bishan Temple in Mount Wutai.

The master takes preaching scriptures and propagating Dharma and building temples to pacify monks as his own responsibility. Relying on the kindness of the Three Treasures and the power of good believers from all directions, after 20 years of unremitting efforts, he has preached more than 20 Mahayana classics and has raised thousands of net funds. million, a new Longquan with numerous palaces and solemn dojos was built.

On the sixth day of April in 2007, Zen Master Si Youming became the forty-sixth generation descendant of the Linji Sect. His Dharma name is: Ji Zheng Huikong. On the sixth day of October 2007, Zen Master Si Jinghui became the 49th generation successor of the Caodong Sect, with the Dharma name: Tengquan Changkai.

The master is currently the abbot of Longquan Temple in Luquan City, Hebei Province, president of the Luquan Buddhist Association, deputy secretary-general of the Hebei Buddhist Association, and member of the Luquan CPPCC. The Dharma Master is compassionate and helpful to all things, has wisdom and wisdom, fulfills Ksitigarbha's great vows, and continues the wisdom of all Buddhas. He sits in the Longquan Taoist Hall and is waiting for the faithful believers from all over the world to come and study.
