What's interesting about Tasmania?
I have been in Australia for 8 years, and I arranged a trip to Tasmania for the first time. It was 20 17, 1 month, and just after the wedding, I took my parents around Australia. Send a small picture to commemorate it briefly. 20 17 65438+ 10/0/5, I got married.
After the wedding, we flew to Queensland and Hamilton Island for a few days.
Then Hamilton Island-Melbourne, support the Australian Open 17 seed trip. Then Melbourne-Hobart:

_ _ wordy tips
Generally speaking, the difficulty coefficient of self-driving in Tasmania is not high, and the whole is not very tired (about 200 kilometers per day on average). The scenery is beautiful, with mountains and water. We are especially lucky to go to any scenic spot on a sunny day (the kind that cools down and rains the next day after leaving the scenic spot), which is especially suitable for taking my parents on a "senior group" trip.
If the weather is too hot, go to the South Pole. Summer is cooler than usual. Be sure to wear long sleeves. Short sleeves are definitely not good ~ summer should be the best time to go, and winter will definitely be very cold. But it's good to see snow.

It is also important for modern people that the signal in Tasmania is not very good. Because we all use Vodafone calling cards, except Hobart and Launceston, there is no signal all the time. Let's experience that there is no cell phone signal and the hotel network is unstable. This is a state of wanting to cry.
We paid attention to it. Tasmania should be the most popular choice. I saw many optus advertisements in places where Vodafone had no signal. Therefore, if you come to Australia to apply for a temporary card, optus is recommended.
Finally, the main event came. My father-in-law's domestic mobile phone card is universal. In this remote Tasmania, the signal is extremely strong and stable.

1, 2 Hobart (port arthur+Wellington Hill)
Hobart is the capital of Tasmania with a small population, but it is the second oldest city in Australia. As we all know, Tasmania has a famous prison site-Port Arthur, so this city can give people an unspeakable sense of history everywhere.
Port Arthur
1. Port Arthur, Port Arthur
Port Arthur is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Tasmania. In the early days of British colonization, it was a prison for exiled felons. Now the prison site here has been developed into a famous tourist attraction and is one of the United Nations World Heritage Sites. The package of the scenic spot includes a guide and a boat ticket. If you are a tour guide, you will explain it in Mandarin for about an hour.
Port Arthur
The day I went was Australia's National Day on June 26th, 65438/KLOC-0. The first batch of prisoners arrived in Australia. On this day, I visited Port Arthur, which is closely related to the National Day. This is quite coincidental. By the way, the National Day of other countries usually celebrates the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC). This kind of brain hole in Australia is so big that the time for prisoners to land for the first time is designated as National Day.
Port Arthur
In this part of the ruins of Port Arthur prison, I only took a picture of the scenery, and no one took a group photo. Maybe I'm superstitious.

2. Wellington Hill
Wellington is the highest mountain around Hobart, with an observation deck overlooking the whole city. It takes about half an hour to drive from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. We went at night, and the scenery was beautiful. It is estimated that it will be done at sunrise and rest at sunset.
Wellington mt
Generally, in addition to driving by car, you can also sign up for this short trip at the local travel agency. We drive by ourselves, and the journey is short, but the mountain road is still a little dangerous, especially downhill. We must be extra careful when driving.
Wellington mt
Although the scenery is good, the temperature on the mountain is low, please keep warm ~
Wellington mt
Come to Zhang Quanjing again ~ Beautiful scenery.

Pretend to smile calmly, but I'm really cold.

The observation deck on the mountain especially likes this blue feeling.

3. Claremont House Hotel
Actually, it's not a scenic spot. This is our hotel in Hobart. Write it down on purpose, because it is very old (for Australia).
There are only four rooms here, built around 1839. They used to be the "big houses" of local nobles. From the inside out, it is the manor style seen in previous film and television works (that is, the reserved area is slightly smaller now). The whole house has several living rooms, game rooms and so on.
During the two days I lived here, all the pictures in my mind were Pride and Prejudice. As soon as I entered the living room, I felt that this was the place where nobles chatted and drank tea every day.
At that time, the glory here could only be felt by imagination, but now it is one of the choices for local weddings. If you come in from the gate to the door in a carriage, it is also a beautiful picture.
3. Hobart-Gobble Bay
On the third day around the island, we finally set off from Hobart. The tour starts in Hobart, ends in Jiugui Bay, and stops at a resort in Jiugui Bay. This distance is almost 200 kilometers, which is not too long, so I drove to many places along the way.
1. Richmond Town
It is more than 20 kilometers away from Hobart, a small town with a small population. This is a historic town with some old buildings. Another important reason why this town can be used as a scenic spot is the bridge below, which is the oldest bridge still in use in Australia.
All the tourists are for this small bridge ~
It happened to be Lunar New Year's Eve in China, so I was particularly impressed.
I wanted to take a New Year photo, but I took a picture of my special man ~ as shown below.
2. Frog Moore River Winery
This winery was recommended by a friend who makes red wine. I have been to countless wineries around Sydney, so I didn't take it seriously at first. But after I went there, I tasted my favorite wine, which is deeply rooted grass, so I especially want to recommend it to everyone.
Hobart
Can't find a separate picture of the bottle. This is a small bottle of Riesling. Chinese seems to be translated into riesling? I only bought two bottles at that time, but I did one easily at dinner that day. Regret buying less. Later, when I went back and forth to Sydney, I found that Riesling in this winery was not always available, so I recommend you to try it.
Take a picture in front of the vine ~
Hobart
The vines in the distance are similar to any winery in Sydney.
Hobart
There are many beautiful beaches along the way. We drove all the time and saw a sign of scenic spots on the roadside, so we went around to have a look. In addition, the weather was fine that day, which looked like a white beach from a distance. The sea is blue, and it is blue in layers.
It's a pity that I didn't shoot a clear sea blue with a professional camera that day. It's really beautiful.
3. Jiujingwan
wineglass bay
Jiugui Bay is one of the top ten most beautiful bays in the world. The curve between the white sand beach and the blue-green ocean in the bay looks like a blue-green wine glass from a distance.
wineglass bay
Seen from the wine glass bay, it looks like a natural wine glass. It only takes about an hour and a half to see the whole picture at the top of the mountain, and it takes about 3-4 hours to get to the seaside. I only chose the short-distance part. Personally, I think it is more labor-saving to look at the panorama from a height. There are many similar beaches in Australia, and I think we can give them up appropriately.
wineglass bay
As I get older, I like to take pictures of my back more and more.
wineglass bay
Wine Cup Bay belongs to Freycinet National Park, where we live-Frey Cinet Lodge. It is an independent cabin, as shown below.
wineglass bay
There are not many restaurants in national parks, let alone Chinese food. So I simply ate the New Year's Eve dinner that day ~ ~ But the view of the hotel lobby and restaurant is very good, the coastline is very beautiful, and the family, with beautiful scenery, are actually very happy.
wineglass bay
There are many beautiful coastlines in the whole national park. After dinner, you can take a walk on the beach in the sunset. Please enjoy the sunset photos like gymnastics broadcast below.

4. Wine Cup Bay-Lavender Manor-Langston Roundabout
On the fourth day, we set off from Wine Cup Bay and arrived in Launceston, the second largest city in Tasmania. I spend most of my time on the road. I saw Flame Bay along the way, only went to one scenic spot-Lavender Manor, and lived in Launceston. The whole journey is also about 200 kilometers.
Bliduo lavender farm
1.bridestowe lavender farm
There should be many lavender estates, the most famous of which is bridestowe Lavender Estate. On the day I went, the weather was fine, but the wind was strong, and I felt that lavender was blown with a layer of soil. It looks gray ~
Bliduo lavender farm
Then there is the famous lavender bear, which suddenly bought fried food a few years ago ~ nothing special. I have never been interested in these things, so I bought some and sent them back to my friends. There are shops specializing in lavender around the manor. Besides bears, there are lavender pillows, aromatherapy, soap and so on. There are many kinds. I bought lavender essential oil for my own use, and it feels good ~
Bliduo lavender farm
Lavender Manor, show tourists around here ~ If you don't use filters, I don't think all the photos taken are purple, haha.

2. Fire station
Flame Bay is not a single bay, with a total length of 20 kilometers. The biggest feature is the red rock, which is like a flame under the sunlight.
Huoyanwan
When the weather is clear, from a distance, the blue sea and fiery red rocks have very bright colors and first-class visual effects ~
Huoyanwan
At the end of this day, the overall feeling is that the lavender manor I went to see is far less than the Flame Bay I saw when I passed by ~ I think it's okay to give up the lavender manor if the time is short, but it won't be too detour and the ticket price is very cheap (I can't remember the details) ~ Maybe it was too windy that day and I didn't feel the beauty of the lavender manor on the Internet.
Huoyanwan
Still a standard tourist. Look here.

3. Launceston
Langston is the second largest city in Tasmania. I didn't make much introduction before I went. I wanted to use it as an accommodation station, but when I got there, I found it was a very distinctive and beautiful city. The buildings in the city center are very distinctive. After inspection, they should belong to Edwardian and Victorian buildings. For Australia, it is very old and distinctive (of course, it can't be compared with roadside buildings that can be seen everywhere in Europe).
This is a simple post office. Are so emotional ~ ~ ~
A small church by the roadside
In addition to the old buildings on the street, there is a canyon in downtown Launceston-Cataract George. I looked up the Chinese translation-Cardenete Canyon.
This is a completely open space, because the city is too small, so it only takes 5 minutes to drive from the city center. This trip was actually on the morning of the fifth day (before going to Cradle Mountain). Because the next section of Cradle Mountain is too long, I put it in this section. When I passed by in the morning, I saw that there were many residents in Launceston, which was actually equivalent to a big park, where residents did morning exercises.
I like this park very much. Belongs to the oasis in the city. The middle river (South esk River) divides the canyon into two parts. The whole trail is easy to walk, and there are several distinctive bridges in the middle. There are waterfalls, unique pavilions and cable cars along the way.
We had limited time that day, and the highlight of the plan was Cradle Mountain, so we took a short turn in this canyon park and went back the same way (so I'm not sure how long this trip will take). Unfortunately, Launceston should be the city I want to live in when I come to Tasmania next time. Save it for next time.
In addition, in the photo below, all I can think of is the back, Zhu Ziqing. I am also the product of exam-oriented education.
5. Launceston-Cradle Mountain-Strangham
The highlight of this day is Cradle Mountain, which is regarded as a major attraction in Tasmania. I went to downtown Launceston in the morning, then started from Cradle Mountain, passed through the mural town in Sheffield, and lived in Stranham at night (sorry, I don't know the Chinese literal translation).

1. Cradle Mountain
Cradle is one of the natural heritages in the world. It is a mountain range formed by glaciers hundreds of millions of years ago. Probably the calm lake water is surrounded by surrounding mountains, as quiet as sleeping in a cradle, hence the name Cradle Mountain.
Yao Lan
The main reason why this place has become a world heritage is its beautiful scenery. There are many hiking routes here. When you climb to the top, you can overlook the lake below. There are very unique scenery here in winter and summer. This time, I felt the scenery in summer. Have a chance to see the snow scene in winter again.
Yao Lan
I once worked out a strategy. Cradle Mountain is a mountain formed by icebergs hundreds of millions of years ago, so the climate is quite special. Basically, it rains two-thirds of the year. Looking at almost everyone's tips before, they will say that Cradle Mountain is extremely cold. But we were lucky to meet the only sunny day that week.
Yao Lan
On the day we went, the highest temperature in the afternoon was almost 20 degrees. The second day we went there, the temperature was only four degrees. So I want to focus on reminding everyone to keep warm and then pay attention to sun protection (I just didn't expect it to be very hot there, so I ignored it and got a red layer when I went back to the hotel).
Yao Lan
After entering Cradle Mountain National Park, there will be a parking lot. There is still some distance from the pigeon lake parking lot. The requirement of the scenic spot is to buy a ticket and take the park shuttle bus to enter. Self-driving is not allowed. We did it in strict accordance with the requirements, but we still saw many self-driving cars driving inside along the way. I suggest you obey the rules. The bus fare seems to be only 10 yuan, which is very cheap. Many road conditions on this mountain road are not good, and it is a one-way street. For the sake of safety, it is best not to drive in.
Yao Lan
The shuttle bus will go directly to the pigeon lake parking lot. Pigeon Lake is one of the most famous scenic spots in Cradle Mountain, and the hiking route of Cradle Mountain starts from here.
Yao Lan
There are three hiking routes in the national park, which are simple, intermediate and difficult. The easiest way is around pigeon lake, which takes 2-3 hours to walk down. The whole road is very flat, and you can see the calm pigeon lake and the mountains reflected on the lake.
Yao Lan
The most difficult thing is the famous land track. Since there is no road connection between Cradle Mountain and Lake St Galle, this famous hiking route is left. It usually takes seven days. Cradle Mountain and St Gallen Lake are the starting point and the end point respectively. Along the way, you will climb the highest peak in Tasmania and the surrounding mountains and trees. If you want to conquer this road, you'd better be in February to April of 18, because the days are longer and the temperature is more pleasant at that time. If you want to rest in a camp with accommodation along the way, you can also prepare your own tent. This passage is taken from the Internet. People who are interested in this route can book their own hiking trip in www.overlandtrack.com.au.
Yao Lan
We chose the route with moderate difficulty and walked for more than three hours. This road is not smooth. The route is just to bypass a few small lakes and climb to the top of the mountain. Most of them are mountain roads, and the last section needs both hands and feet to climb to the top. So once again remind everyone to wear comfortable and relaxed shoes.
Yao Lan
The picture below shows the scenery of climbing to the top of the mountain with both hands and feet (really with both hands and feet, the last section is a nearly vertical mountain road with an iron chain next to it). ) This paragraph is really tiring. Everyone must pay attention to safety and be psychologically prepared in advance ~ I especially like this blue scenery, so for me, the scenery on the top of the mountain really feels like glad you came.
Yao Lan
When it rains, it is the scenery halfway up the mountain (that is, the scenery before the hands and feet are useless). Basically, except for strong and healthy people, I think many people may give up the last paragraph. My parents-in-law were exhausted when they arrived here, and they didn't participate in the last paragraph.
Yao Lan
The picture below shows a lake on the uphill road after bypassing Pigeon Lake. There will be a map of scenic spots with the names of the lakes on it, but unfortunately I can't remember any other names except Pigeon Lake now. But the beautiful scenery is deeply in my memory ~ ~
Yao Lan
Bypass these lakes and climb to the top of the mountain, then go back the same way and finally return to Pigeon Lake. Take the shuttle bus from the pigeon lake parking lot and return to the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot. For the most basic tourism in Cradle Mountain, this scenic spot is over. If it's a long visit, Cradle Mountain can actually stay for a week. There are too many routes in the whole national park. If I have the opportunity to come here again in the future, I will try other routes.
2. Sheffield Mural City
On the way from Launceston to the cradle, you will pass through Sheffield Town. This town has a history of hundreds of years (for Australia, hundreds of years should be specially explained, haha, there is really no history). Built in 1859, the population is rarely estimated to be only a few thousand. This town is famous for all kinds of murals.
Sheffield mural city
I checked my homework, and the earliest one in town was born in 1986. At that time, because of the local economic depression, the village Committee of the town decided to set up a tourism association and paint the history of the town on the wall of the town. The story of pioneers attracts tourists ~ Many murals are the works of professional mural artists.
The picture below is my favorite pair ~
Sheffield mural city
Basically all the buildings in the town are covered with murals, just like a three-dimensional picture book. Before reading the Raiders, everyone kept saying that the following picture was painted by Eason Chan. I don't know if it's true or not, but it does say "Eason did this" in the lower left corner of the picture.
Sheffield mural city
Let's have another mural symbolizing the friendship between China and Australia ~ I have been in Australia for 10 years, and I feel like my second hometown. Of course, the motherland will always be the motherland. I hope China and Australia are friendly.
Sheffield mural city
3. Strahan
After the trip to Cradle Mountain, we continued to turn southwest around the island and came to Strahan, which is about 150 km long. In Strahan, we reserved a seaside cabin. I like the one below and recommend it to everyone.
This cabin can be searched and booked: helmsman apartment accommodation. Entering the door is a large living room with French windows and sea view, which is particularly bright. There are always two floors. Generally speaking, it is clean and tidy, with good quality and low price.
Second floor, sunset
Most importantly, on the day when we lived in this small town with no signal at all, I was pleasantly surprised to witness my favorite 18 crown in Fei Sen. For this reason, I think I will always remember this place.
The picture below shows the Australian Open in the last two years, 20 16vs20 17. Go to the site to support (whole cow powder) in the past two years. The logo of 16 is still old, and 17 has been replaced with a new one.
melbourne park
I didn't think the new logo looked good before. But now the more you look at it, the more pleasing it is. I think of a sentence: some people will fall in love with the new logo starting from 17 because they love fighting champions.

6.strahan-Hobart
Strahan is an important town in western Tasmania. It seems to be an important port in the west. I only planned to be an accommodation station before, and I didn't do too many strategies. When I arrived, I saw the advertisement for the retro train in the tropical rain forest in town. I was so excited that I changed my schedule a little and decided to get up early in the morning to take the train.
Retro trains have a fixed time and route. If I remember correctly, the same route only has one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Don't miss time. I'll post the website, so everyone must check the time in advance and arrange the itinerary. . au .
In addition to retro trains, there are also cruise tours. Both of them seem to be looking at the scenery of the tropical rain forest, but it's not bad to choose one. Because there are too many cruise ships in Sydney, retro trains are our first choice.
We chose a half-day round-trip route and set off early in the morning. After finishing the project at noon, we can drive back to Hobart. This is the only rainy day in our whole trip. The local saying in Australia is that it will be more beautiful to go to the tropical rain forest to see the misty rain forest and waterfalls when it rains.
The overall feeling is very similar to the Kullanda Rainforest in Cairns, Queensland, with various plants and waterfalls on both sides. There will be a special commentator on the bus to introduce the scenic spots. The difference is that Cairns is a more popular tourist destination, so all kinds of materials are in Chinese, and Tasmania is explained in English. If you are not interested in explaining plants, you can sit completely empty and look at the scenery on both sides.
There are several stops along the train, so passengers can go down and take pictures and see the surrounding scenery. Looking at this small train full of steam, the picture is very crossing.
Write it at the end
Travel notes are almost all here. After the journey of the small train, we returned to the starting station, got on the bus and prepared to return to Hobart. At first, most of the distance from Strahan to Hobart was a mountain road. The road itself is not wide, and then it twists and turns, which is not particularly easy to drive. Everyone should pay attention to safety when driving.
After returning to Hobart, I had a simple rest for a day. The next morning, I went to the airport to return the car and set off for Sydney. Generally speaking, walking around the island is not very hard, but the driver is still the most tired.
Finally, put a back.
