Trip to Beijing

When I was a child, my mother told me that the capital of the motherland is Beijing, which has the majestic Great Wall, the beautifully constructed Forbidden City, the Summer Palace with pleasant scenery … and the magnificent flag-raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square. Since then, I have always had a deep desire to visit Beijing.

Fortunately, I attended the elite journalists' summer camp, and my destination was Beijing. The day before I left, I was too happy to sleep. My heart has flown to my dream place-Beijing. On July 29th, we finally set out. After a day and a night of train bumps, we finally came to the "dream city" in my heart-Beijing.

(A) Tiananmen Square to see the flag raising

The train arrived at Beijing Station at 3: 00 a.m. on March1,and we couldn't wait to board the bus of the travel agency and visit Tiananmen Square to raise the national flag. Two hours later, we arrived at Tiananmen Square. At this time, the day has broken, the sky is slightly white, the stars are gone, the crescent moon is gone, and the faint morning fog hangs over the majestic Tiananmen Square. However, the lights here are brilliant and the street lamps around are dazzling. The tall Tiananmen Gate reflects red light in the light, solemn and magnificent. At half past five, someone shouted, "Coming!" Sure enough, the mighty national flag guards walked out of Tiananmen Gate. Tall and burly flag raisers hold the national flag, and flag protectors hold rifles. The pace is so neat and powerful. There are three flag bearers and about 25 flag bearers. The flag bearer surrounded the flag bearer and the flagpole in the middle, and their positions were good. The most exciting moment has arrived. The majestic national anthem sounded, and Ran Ran, the national flag dyed red with the blood of revolutionary martyrs, rose. At this moment, I seem to see the choppy and endless Yellow River blocking the road of revolutionary martyrs, staring at them with a gun, but they fought bloody battles for the peace of the motherland and the happiness of the people, leaving us with peace. This is the pride of China people! The whole square is decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations, and people are next to people, and people are crowded. At this time, people are seriously watching the slowly rising national flag. Everyone is holding a camera in their hands, scrambling to take this unforgettable moment.

(2) Climbing Haohanpo

Today, we are going to Badaling Great Wall to realize another dream-climbing the majestic and winding Great Wall.

Along the way, we were beaming and excited. As soon as I got off the bus, I felt a heat wave coming on my face, and my body was soon soaked with sweat. Looking up, the Great Wall is like a long, lively dragon, winding and undulating along the mountain.

From the Chinese class I just learned, I know that the Great Wall starts from Shanhaiguan in the east and ends at Jiayuguan in the west, with a total length of 13000 miles. The Great Wall is the symbol of the Chinese nation and the pride of China. This is the longest ancient defense building in history. The Great Wall was first seen in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. After more than 2000 years, it runs through the north of China, winding and magnificent. It is one of the two great human wonders that can be seen from the air today. How proud I am to be in China at the foot of the Great Wall! The tour guide uncle said, "We are going to climb the Great Wall now, and the goal is to climb the heroic slope of Badaling Great Wall. The top three who climb first, that is,' heroes', will be rewarded! " So we scrambled to climb to Hero Slope. We climbed to the center and saw that the stone on the wall was scratched with a knife and someone carved his name on it. This is not good, because the Great Wall is so spectacular, it is not a fly in the ointment to carve so many traces. At first, the road was flat and it was easy for us to climb up, but gradually the slope became steeper and the steps became more and more dangerous. The steps of the last beacon tower on the vast slope are inclined at 50 degrees, one next to the other, and the height of the steps is 30 cm. Some classmates have dissuaded me, and my legs are weak from fatigue. I tried to stop several times, but I could see those old people and children younger than me climbing up slowly. I thought: Come on! Zhang Zixiao, you can climb up! So I gritted my teeth and moved on. With my unremitting efforts, I finally climbed the heroic slope. At this time, we were overjoyed! I also won the third place!

(3) The Summer Palace with pleasant scenery

In the afternoon, the tour guide uncle took us to the Summer Palace, which is a big park with birds and flowers.

Enter the gate of the Summer Palace, bypass the main hall and come to the famous promenade. According to the tour guide's uncle, the Summer Palace promenade is more than 700 meters long and divided into 273 rooms. No two pictures in every room are the same. There are many flowers and trees planted next to the promenade, from which the fragrance of the Summer Palace comes. I suddenly felt a breeze blowing towards my son. Oh, on the left is Kunming Lake, which is very refreshing.

"Come on, let's go to Kunming Lake!" The fat tour guide said, because the tour guide uncle is very fat!

When we arrived at Kunming Lake, we saw the 17-hole bridge. Can you guess why it is called a seventeen-span bridge? The fat tour guide said, "The 17-hole bridge has 17 bridge opening. When these 17 bridge opening are combined with the water on the river, they become 17 small holes. This is how the seventeen-hole bridge is named. " There are hundreds of stone lions on the bridge fence. This stone lion is the same as the painting in the gallery, and no two are the same.

The Summer Palace is a typical China classical architectural complex with beautiful scenery and elegant environment, which attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. The Summer Palace is full of flowers and colorful; The light green grass drills a small head from the ground, and it dances happily when the breeze blows; The green trees are dressed in green, like a fairy with long hair, very beautiful.

This trip to Beijing is really meaningful! Because I not only enjoyed the places of interest, but also learned about the splendid history and culture of China. I love you, Beijing!
