What are the characteristics of Hong Tai Ji Chuan-Liu Jinan Chengde?

Hong Tai Ji Chuan is a branch of Tai Ji Chuan. In the long-term spreading process, Tai Ji Chuan, with Chen Shi and Tai Ji Chuan as its source, formed five schools: Chen Shi, Shi Yang, Wushi, Wushi and Sun Shi. The other four schools all originated from several circles in Chen Shi, gradually forming their own characteristics and forming new schools. While other Tai Ji Chuan became famous in the world, Chen Tai Ji Chuan was unknown for a long time. Chen Taiji passed on the 17th generation descendant Mr. Chen Fake (1887- 1957), which was not known to the world until he was punched in Peiping (now Beijing). Mr. Chen made a milestone contribution to the development of Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan. Chen taiji's biography can take root and blossom in Jinan, thanks to my mentor, Mr. Hong. Mr. Hong is from Yuxian County, Henan Province. He grew up in Beijing with his father. He dropped out of school because of weak health. Later, he was introduced to learn boxing from Mr. Chen Fake. He not only recovered, but also inherited Chen Taiji's biography well. 1956, when Mr. Hong went to Beijing, Mr. Chen Fake personally inspected the boxing in his later years and asked him to teach this Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan. Master Hong followed Master Chen for fifteen years. Years later, when he mentioned his mentor, his feelings were filled with reverence. Teacher Hong has been actively spreading Taiji in Jinan for decades, and his disciples and serious disciples are all over the world. In the past, people called this boxing handed down by Mr. Hong "Jinan Boxing". After Mr. Hong's death, in order to carry forward the Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan handed down by Mr. Hong and always remember the kindness of Mr. Hong's boxing, we called this boxing "Hong-style Tai Ji Chuan". Speaking of the characteristics of Hong Chuan's Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan, we think that Mr. Hong has really explored and enriched this boxing method in terms of theoretical summary and martial arts practice through decades of efforts in his boxing teaching practice. He put forward the technology of turning and rotating, and put forward the forward rotation and reverse rotation of turning for the first time in Tai Ji Chuan theory; Specific requirements for forward and backward rotation and leg winding methods; According to the principle of "waist as the axis, standing as flat as the ground", Tai Ji Chuan requires neutral balance; For the first time, it is pointed out that there are differences between virtual and real in teleology; He particularly emphasized that "Tai Chi is the power of giving up, and the action takes a spiral", gave a more specific explanation of the power of giving up, and discussed the spiral winding in detail. These theories are creative ideas, which are of great help to Tai Ji Chuan's study and practice later. The Tai Ji Chuan style of Hong Chuan and Chen Shi gradually formed the characteristics of precise methods and practical techniques. How can I practice Tai Ji Chuan with Hong Chuan and Chen Shi? This problem should start from the source. Tai Chi is very famous for spreading the ether, which originated from Tai Chi. Theoretically speaking, it is the product of China's traditional culture, which accords with China's ancient people's understanding of the world and China's philosophy, medicine and natural science. Therefore, Tai Ji Chuan is not just a kind of boxing, but a kind of culture, a kind of cultural boxing. Tao is manifested by boxing, and boxing seeks Tao. Tai Ji Chuan is a trail. Compared with Tai Chi, he is a small skill. What we pursue is Tai Chi. Too many, endless. Infinity is chaos, what is Tai Chi? This is yin and yang. In the Taiji diagram, two "fish" in black and white are used to represent Yin and Yang. Learning and practicing Tai Ji Chuan is a fun and hard process. Everyone who is interested in this should be psychologically prepared, regard Tai Ji Chuan as a career, a culture and a pursuit of truth, be modest and prudent, be tireless, devote themselves with perseverance and passion, and move in the right direction after years of tempering. Each school in Tai Ji Chuan has its own characteristics and different requirements in practice, which vary from school to school and from person to person. After two generations' research and arrangement, Chen Chuan Shitai Tai Ji Chuan has formed its own characteristics and requirements. I also have some experience in decades of practice and teaching practice, hoping to inspire comrades who love Tai Ji Chuan. 1. Where should the process of drawing a circle and never knowing Tai Ji Chuan begin? In my teaching, I emphasize drawing a circle, which is the beginning of understanding Tai Ji Chuan and basic skills. Tai Ji Chuan emphasized the use of "circle" and thought that the whole set of movements consisted of forehand circle and backhand circle. Describe the process of forehand loop ball, taking the right hand as an example. Squat into a side posture under the footwall, with the tip of the right foot 45 degrees to the right, the left foot buckled inward, and the two feet in a "Sichuan" step; Pinch your waist with your left hand; The right hand naturally extends to the farthest end, making a 45-degree angle with the body. The hand shape of the right hand is the palm, and the middle finger is strong. The first move is to loosen your shoulders and lower your elbows, and naturally relax your right hand. With the relaxation of shoulders, arms and forearms, fingers are higher than palms, hands are higher than elbows, and the lateral posture remains unchanged. The second move is to turn left, then turn left with your right hand, adjust your waist and crotch, and change to a positive standing posture. The third action relaxes the waist, closes the crotch, and exerts force on the middle finger, with the palm of the right hand facing the chest and the palm inclined to the left shoulder. Fourth, the body turns right, and then the right hand opens to the right. Hands lead elbows, elbows lead shoulders, and gait gradually changes to lateral posture, restoring the initial state. The backhand loop ball is the same as the forehand loop ball, taking the right hand as an example. The first move is to stretch the right hand at the farthest end at a 45-degree angle with the body, relax the waist and crotch, relax the shoulders and put down the elbows. The right hand rotates towards the thumb with the middle finger as the center, and the palm is forward. The second body turns left, and then the right hand bends left to the chest. The third measure is to relax the waist and crotch, and the right hand continues to arc into the palm. As the waist and hip sink, the shoulders relax, the elbows droop, and the right arm and right hand sink to the chest. Fourth, turn right, relax your shoulders, put down your elbows, tuck in and grind outward, and then open your right hand 45 degrees to the right. The forehand and backhand turns of the left hand are the same as the main points. This is the forehand and backhand. Tai Ji Chuan is a kind of family boxing. The so-called family boxing means that there are changes inside the body. The movements of these two circles change inside, and the most important thing is the adjustment of the waist and crotch. "I don't know if I secretly changed my waist and hip" refers to the change of my waist and hip. When practicing, you must pay more attention to turning your waist and try to avoid shaking your upper body. Hip strength is reflected by the rotation of hip joint. Beginners may not find crotch strength. It doesn't matter. After exercise, they will gradually realize this. Shoulders and elbows are loose, falling off and grinding outside; Hand collar elbow, elbow collar shoulder; The middle finger collar force is not only a requirement of appearance, but also a real effort to relax inside and outside. Our Tai Ji Chuan movements are all composed of these two circles, such as essentials, angles, directions, etc. We should abide by the laws of these two circles. It can be said that drawing a good circle is the basic skill of Hong Tai Ji Chuan and the highest requirement of Hong Tai Ji Chuan. Drawing circles is a thing that runs through Tai Ji Chuan's study, and it is also a good way to master the essentials of Tai Ji Chuan as soon as possible. Second, learning routines, honing Tai Ji Chuan's Chen style every day, which originated from Tai Ji Chuan's Chen style taught by Chen Fake, is divided into two sets of boxing frames: one-way boxing and two-way boxing. On this basis, we sorted out and selected a set of 42 routines. These three sets of boxing frames are very beneficial for learning Tai Ji Chuan's Chen style, strengthening physical fitness, increasing kung fu and improving self-cultivation. When people mention Tai Ji Chuan, they have the impression that it refers to the Tai Ji Chuan routine, and this form of exercise is Tai Ji Chuan, so it seems that a person who can't know the routine can't be regarded as Tai Ji Chuan. However, the essence of Tai Ji Chuan is often not superficial. People who really have kung fu can see from the performance of the boxing frame that they need more hands-on experiments. As a learner in Tai Ji Chuan, it is necessary to learn routines. On the one hand, we should increase our interest in practicing boxing and avoid the boredom of simply standing on piles and drawing circles in this way; On the other hand, practicing boxing to check movements, repeated for a long time, produces the stereotype of movements, and achieves the goal of not going beyond the moment at will. The study and practice of Tai Ji Chuan routines should be gradual. The first step is to imitate modeling according to the teacher's instruction, pursue modeling, and give play to the moral of Tai Ji Chuan. The second step is to constantly correct, it is easy to learn boxing, but difficult to change boxing. By constantly resting from the boxing frame, we pursue every movement in place, and then pursue the connotation, usage and change of every movement; The fourth step, through years of practice, I have worked hard on the upper body over time, and my movements have reached the realm of arbitrary, explosive, physical and mental integration and Tai Chi everywhere; The fifth step is to push the boxing frame out of its own realm, either vigorous, strict, harmonious, detached, graceful or natural. Teacher Hong said that "the quality of boxing depends on personality", and the quality of boxing is the same as people's cultivation. In addition, there are the sixth and seventh steps ... the pursuit of Tai Chi Chuan is endless. There are several problems to pay attention to when practicing boxing: the movements should be in place. Many people are content with painting a gourd ladle and don't seek solutions. Repeated practice at ordinary times, although the movement is smooth, is actually a wrong repetition. When we learn boxing, we need not only form, but also spirit. We should break down every movement, think it over carefully, standardize every movement and connect them one by one, so that the whole movement can be regular. Actions should be well thought out. Practicing boxing seems to be practicing the body, but it is actually practicing the brain. It is true that predecessors said that "Tai Ji Chuan is a kind of cultural boxing". The key to practicing boxing is to think more. Walking with the brain can get twice the result with half the effort, and practicing boxing without the brain will not have a good effect. Everyone's physical condition is different, and the experience and progress rate of learning boxing are different. We should sum up and think according to our own experience and find the law in combination with our experience. Another, Tai Ji Chuan can't live without teachers. Students should be thoughtful, curious, consult teachers, communicate with boxing friends, and realize Tao in constant ideological collision. Can't leave the principle. Many boxers know Tai Ji Chuan's principles by heart, such as "stand at attention, pull the top to strength, relax the shoulders, lower the elbows and sink the abdomen". But when practicing boxing, I forgot all about the principle, raised my elbow, held my breath, shook up and down, and lost my upright posture. Tai Ji Chuan, no matter what school it is, whether it is a beginner or an old man, has the same principle and must abide by its scientific laws. Without rules, you can't be Fiona Fang, and you can't go to the end and practice Tai Ji Chuan into broadcast gymnastics. How can we abide by the principles of Tai Ji Chuan? First, when consciously practicing, always remind yourself whether it violates the general requirements; The second is to follow the teacher's demonstration and constantly correct the action. Third, fight with others and practice true knowledge. Tai Ji Chuan is a category of China Wushu, not dancing, not gymnastics, not posturing. Chen Tai Ji Chuan is a kind of boxing with strong fighting skill. Sun Tzu's art of war says, "Know yourself and know yourself, and you won't be in a hundred battles." Practicing boxing and shelves is just a bosom friend. How can we know ourselves? And verify yourself? You need to start fighting and test it in practice. Tai Ji Chuan has a good experimental method-pushing hands. This is a good method found by predecessors in summing up practice. When we study and practice to a certain stage, we can check our level by pushing hands and gradually find the strength to understand. There has been a lot of discussion about the requirements of pushing hands. To put it simply, we should push the hand according to Tai Ji Chuan's principle, follow each other's strength, and do not support or lose money. To be round and neutral; The whole body should be loose and fall off in it; Attached to follow, synchronized with people. Novices should not be afraid of shame, don't want to be exposed, and don't bully others. Exposure is loss. There is too much thinking, balance yin and yang, and never lose your mind. Doing your own thing correctly means having time, and synchronizing with your opponent means knowing yourself and knowing yourself. There are still some people who doubt that Tai Chi Chuan can hit people because of his leisurely pace. Can you fight freely with boxing and Sanda? I think that since Tai Ji Chuan is a kind of martial arts, there is no question of fighting with anyone or any faction. I advocate that anyone and any boxing can take the exam. Pushing hands is a good way for Tai Ji Chuan to find strength, and it is also a good way for teachers and friends to learn from each other, but it is not the only test method. Truth is not afraid of test. Tai Ji Chuan is a real martial art, and he doesn't shy away from any test methods of attack and defense. Furthermore, in practice and practice, we should actively do friendly experiments with all factions, find out our own shortcomings, learn from the strengths of all factions, and constantly correct ourselves, so as to make continuous progress. A person who pursues the truth and truly loves Tai Ji Chuan is not afraid of losing face. Failure is the best teacher. Only when he is good at learning, summing up and correcting can he succeed. I want to give you a sentence from my teacher, Mr. Hong-"Listen more, watch more, practice more, ask more why, practice more". I hope everyone will take this as their motto. How hard does Tai Ji Chuan work? How to practice in Tai Ji Chuan? I think it is inseparable from the theory of Tai Chi Chuan. In my opinion, we should relax, be considerate and step by step. First of all, it is not easy to relax. Any exercise needs relaxation. You should also relax when you speak on the podium. If you don't relax, you will be nervous. Only when we relax, will we be calm and relaxed. Speaking from practicing boxing, if it is loose, the blood will flow around and get through the meridians. The so-called family boxing is impossible without coordination. Qi is bloody and handsome. For example, a gun, a small warhead, produces such a big impact force because it is driven by gas, and it is the compression of gas that produces force. It is impossible without qi, but looseness is not paralysis. The so-called rigidity is a blunt brute force. Taiji legend, no force, no brute force, no rigidity. Relaxation and strength after relaxation are not the same thing, and they are not contradictory. How to loosen it? Is to go through years of training, don't use brute force, don't practice fast, haste makes waste, and do it according to Tai Ji Chuan's theory. Pine itself is very natural, so don't take it lightly, and don't pursue anything too much. We have always stressed that we should not relax our shoulders and turn our backs. Why not? "You can't realize your achievements every few years. "It doesn't matter if it can't be realized. It doesn't matter when it happens! Work is natural. Because Taiji is born without a pole, it is simply a circle, so it is necessary to practice the circle, and the fist is found in the circle. After practicing the circle, yin and harmony can be reflected, and the unity of opposites can be reflected. With these two foundations, we can use our thoughts to guide us, but we don't need to exert ourselves to achieve it. If you want to practice rounding, you must loosen it and cooperate everywhere to make it round. Both inside and outside should be round. Yin and Yang are displayed in a circle, which conforms to Tai Ji Chuan's principle. Yin and Yang are unified on a circle, and unity means impartiality and balance of Yin and Yang. Reflected in the circle is a Taiji diagram, but this circle is a sphere, a three-dimensional circle, and we are pursuing this three-dimensional circle. Tai Chi is at the waist and hip, why? Because "the strength of crotch is unknown", strength is induced by the rotation of waist and crotch. Therefore, I said that Tai Ji Chuan was not an antagonistic event, but a diversion, and ordinary people's remarks were "insulting". The other side comes to the Force, borrows the other side's Force, leads him to make mistakes and defeats the other side's Force. This is Tai Ji Chuan. By what means? Take the tangent of the circle and smooth it at the tangent point of the circle, so that the waist and crotch should be loose and round. But then again, you have no waist and hip strength. What can you "change"? The key is to practice waist and hip, and the waist is the dominant issue. What do you mean, "affect four or two thousand pounds"? I think this four two is weight+speed. Keep yourself in balance, which leads to the other side losing balance. On the basis of the other party's imbalance, either lead before or add after to accelerate its imbalance. Some people mistakenly think that "four Liang" is used to stir up "one thousand pounds", which is wrong, because there is a premise-"influence", and this speed is only one thousand pounds, and it has been completely introduced. Increasing the speed at the back will help him make mistakes. That's what I meant when I said Tai Ji Chuan was "hitting someone when he was down". So Tai Ji Chuan is not confrontation, but induction. You can't die if you want to induce waist and hip. You must turn around and concentrate. People can't stand up naturally, and this kind of rigidity of people is also formed later. The child is relaxed without exertion. Only when it is round will it slide, and there is guidance in the circle. Like a wheel, it rotates according to its own motion law. If it throws a stone, it will be knocked out at once. Not the consciousness of the wheel, but the rotation of the circle. The point of receiving the stone is the contact point of the circle, which is the tangent point outside. The stone is thrown by a circle and flies along the tangent. We practice Tai Ji Chuan, that is, we practice this circle, gossiping and tying five elements around our waist. The orientation of the limbs is dead, and the five elements in the waist are alive. The waist is like a motor and the limbs are like blades. It is the motor that drives the blades to rotate, and the waist movement drives the limbs to move. If you rotate fast, it is a whole and you can't tell the right corner. Because it becomes a circle, the external force will naturally be triggered and will be pulled out from the tangent. You must pay attention to this when practicing boxing. Now it's often when you don't move, and your limbs are shaking too much. How to find this "shed force". Giving up, rowing, squeezing, pressing, picking, rowing, elbowing and leaning are eight methods summarized by Tai Ji Chuan's predecessors, plus thirteen types. The shed force is the key to this, and it is its implementation. Nothing can be done without strength. The eight laws are used as a whole and cannot be separated. There are many explanations for the shed force by predecessors. I put it this way: giving up force is to melt the other person's strength, destroy his center, improve his center of gravity, reduce the friction under his feet, and make it weightless and unable to exert force. Some people interpret reluctance as shelving, others as resisting, and some people look for meaning literally, which are not accurate. The frame is below and can actually be shed above; Resistance is to support strong force with small force, but the shed is not a rigid force; The shed doesn't have to be on the arm, but also on the leg. It is a round introduction, in which there is a release and in which there is a yang, which shakes the foundation of the other side. Only when you flow through the force can you understand the force. Only when you know the force can you "restrain" and "stop" the force of others, and you can "borrow" and "break". If you understand power, you must lead people through difficulties. If you can't lead through, you can't put each other's strength. If only it became law. How to practice shed strength? Or from the waist and crotch. So this exercise is comprehensive and indispensable. Through the body. When the body is relaxed, it follows up and down, and its appearance is sensitive and its sensitivity increases, so it is called "listening". Without sensitivity, it is impossible to listen. The boxing score says that "it is difficult to advance with people up and down", which is a whole in itself, and there is kung fu running through it. "Stick to each other without losing the top" means to synchronize with each other, listen to each other's strength, unload each other's strength, and achieve synchronization. Synchronization means no distance. In this case, we can control each other and give full play to my advantages. So this shed is a series of results, and it is a reflection of whether Tai Ji Chuan has kung fu. The relationship between Tai Ji Chuan and the stake. Piling is an important method of practicing Neijia Boxing, and we also talk about piling in Tai Ji Chuan. Tai Ji Chuan has two aspects: from yin to yang, from yang to yin; From the outside to the inside, from the inside out. I think standing piles seek quietness, not looseness. Silence is relative, not absolute silence. You can also be quiet in the downtown area, listen but not smell, turn a blind eye; Why? Single-minded, highly concentrated, others can turn a deaf ear. So silence is not silence, but inner silence. Why can standing piles be static? I use my mind. I think Tai Ji Chuan's stake is my mind to practice boxing. Usually, boxing practice is external dynamic and internal static, and standing piles are external dynamic and internal static. Adjust your breath with your mind and find your inner potential. What people call big circle to small circle and small circle to no circle is this problem. From the opening and closing of the shape, to the external static internal movement, to the acyclic. Acyclic is a circle without shape, but its psychological circle is there, invisible, or according to the law of circle. I sometimes close my eyes and think for myself. I don't have to stand on a pile of things, but I can sit. I can practice boxing with my mind, how to walk hard and how to take my hand out. This is also a good way to practice boxing, and it is also a good way to practice with appearance in the future. But I don't advocate novices to practice standing piles, because novices can't calm down. After Tai Chi Chuan, what we should practice is that there is no way but law, which is intangible and tangible. Attachment: About the author: Mr. Liu Cheng has studied wrestling and Yang Tai's biographies. In the sixties and seventies of last century, I studied under Mr. Hong. He is thoughtful, willing to study and has a deep foundation. After the establishment of "Jinan Martial Arts Hall", he, Mr. Zhang Lianen and Mr. Li Enjiu led students to participate in the national Tai Ji Chuan Pushing Competition many times, all of which achieved impressive results and produced many national champions. He was invited to teach Tai Chi in Japan, Australia, Canada and other countries, which was very popular. Actively carry forward Shi Hong's boxing and make great contributions to the spread of his boxing. It is one of the main inheritors of Hongshi Taiji Biography.
