I. Notes on Visa Application
Transit passengers. China tourists who hold entry visas from any of the 30 countries in the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe (see Annex for the list) can stay in Korea for 30 days without a visa if they go to the above countries or return home from the above countries through Korea. The South Korean side stipulates that such visa-free entry personnel must hold a valid ticket for going abroad within 30 days, and there have been no illegal activities such as illegal detention in the above countries. After the expiration of their stay, they must go to a third country and may not return to their original place of departure.
