Travel notes of Hailing Island

In early August, I went to Hailing Island with my best friend and three girls. After I came back, I was busy with my work, so I never had time to organize my photos. A few days ago, a niece asked me for accommodation advice for a trip to Xiamen. Looking through the photos, I found that their trip to Xiamen was once very profound, but now their memories are vague and they can't provide clear accommodation advice to their nieces at all. In order to let myself talk a little in my later years, I began to write this travel note, hoping to give some reference to my friends who plan to go to Hailing Island.

Transportation: Hailing Island is a late-developed island, and the transportation is not very convenient. There is no express train from Guilin, so we choose go on road trip from Liuzhou. Friends who don't want to go to go on road trip can choose to take the bullet train to Yangjiang in Changsha, then take the bus to the island, and then rent a car to play.

Attractions: The four scenic spots of Hailing Island, Shili Silver Beach, Dajiaowan, Mawei Island and Mangrove Park, have their own advantages and disadvantages: Shili Silver Beach has beautiful scenery and is called Oriental Hawaii. The water is clear and the sand is fine, and the beach is soft and long, suitable for taking pictures. There is also the Guangzhou Maritime Silk Museum to visit. Disadvantages: Less safety measures and slightly higher risk factor. In case of typhoon, it is forbidden to go into the water.

Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum is a museum with the theme of "Nanhai 1" about the excavation, protection and display of ancient shipwrecks in Song Dynasty. Nanhai No.1 is the oldest, largest and most well-preserved ocean-going merchant ship among the sunken ships found in the world. It took more than 20 years from discovery to overall salvage.

Hailing Island Mangrove National Wetland Park has patches of mangroves and a long cross-sea wooden plank road. Only suitable for early morning or evening leisure sightseeing. No.3 walked all morning, and after two laps, he peeled off three layers.

Relatively speaking, the recreational facilities in Dajiaowan are relatively complete, suitable for parents and children to play. Disadvantages: the beach is shorter and narrower than Shili Silver Beach, and it costs more. The sunset in Mawei Island is beautiful and not suitable for playing with water. Because of the influence of the typhoon, we only took a cursory look at these two places and didn't take pictures as a souvenir.

Accommodation: The best accommodation in Hailing Island is the hotel and B&B built on Shili Silver Beach, which is not only hydrophilic, but also can capture beautiful sunrises, making it convenient to go to various scenic spots. We chose Beiluo Secret Resort because the girls wanted to play Tianchi and Cliff Pool. The resort has its own private beach. All rooms push the window to see the sea, go downstairs through the lawn and coconut grove, walk to the beach for five minutes, step on the fine sand, feel the sea breeze blowing and the waves rolling.

Beiluo Secret Land is located in Tianchi, a network celebrity on the 30th floor, and three girls designate punching points. And free afternoon tea. Snacks are varied and delicious, giving girls unexpected surprises.

The secret land of Beiluo is built by the mountains and the sea, and a sea-watching plank road is built by the mountains. Friends who like sports can climb to the top of the mountain along the plank road every morning to see the scenery of the whole resort. There is a cliff swimming pool facing the sea on the top of the mountain.

I like the night in the secret of Beiluo best. There is no scorching sun and noise during the day, and there is no cool breeze. You can choose to swim in the offshore swimming pool on the first floor. When you are tired, you can lie on the sofa and listen to a cross talk of Deyun Society with the sea breeze.

You can also choose to walk on the beach and let your feet feel the softness of fine sand and the impact of Yu Lang.

Or move a chair and sit on the beach, blowing the sea breeze and whispering.

Or three or five friends strung together, drinking small beer and running on the beach while slightly drunk. At this time, all the pressures of work and troubles of life will be forgotten, just for the beauty in front of us.

For lunch and dinner, we chose Reggie and Aunt Qian, who scored higher in the US delegation. Although all the seafood is clearly marked, it is not as cheap as we thought, and it is satisfactory.

Summary: Shili Silver Beach in Hailing Island is beautiful! Unfortunately, this time is relatively short and affected by the typhoon. I didn't take beautiful photos of sunrise and sunset. I look forward to seeing Hailing Island next time.
