At about 14:00 on April 16, 2015, in Xiang’an District, Xiamen, a van and a truck had a serious rear-end collision, and the front of the van almost got into the cargo. Tang Xiaoqiang, who was about to go to the island for errands, immediately signaled the truck driver to stop, parked his car on the side of the road, and stepped forward to help.

After stopping the driver's bleeding, he found two injured women in the car who were stuck by the door and unable to move. In order to keep the two of them conscious, he talked to them and gave them water to drink. Tang Xiaoqiang reached out to help in time and won valuable time for rescue.
