1September, 1994, all the teachers and students in the school expressed their opinions, gave the literary society a name with different meanings, and finally finalized the word "Hong Fei". In March, 20001year, Hong Fei Literature Society expanded its lineup with the aim of "enriching campus life, improving students' writing level and cultivating literary seedlings" and divided it into four groups: creative group, peer review group, liaison group and editorial group. Under the guidance of Mr. Lu Dejin and Mr. Ruan Yanghui, the literary publication Hongyan Poetry Journal was founded.

On April 20, 20001year, Mr. Zhu, a famous contemporary educator in China, gladly awarded the publication name and club name to the literary society. Hongyan's poetry experienced difficulties from scratch and tried to innovate its layout. In May 2002, he was awarded the first prize of "National Excellent School Newspaper" by the Classroom Teaching Research Center of the National Middle School Chinese Teaching Seminar.
