I booked a hotel at HRS, but the plane was delayed. What will happen if I arrive at the hotel late? Will there be an extra charge?

It depends on the type of hotel reservation. There are two situations:

A. if you don't arrive, you can cancel the reservation for free: HRS has done a good job in this regard.

If you know that you will arrive at the hotel before 6 pm local time, the hotel will definitely keep your reservation until 6 pm local time. We call it "standard reservation".

If you fail to arrive before 6 pm local time and do not inform the hotel, your reservation will be automatically cancelled free of charge, in other words, the hotel will not charge you. After 6 pm, the hotel can reserve rooms for other guests. Even if it is a standard reservation, if it cannot arrive, our partner hotel would like to be informed by the guests. If you can't get to the hotel before 6 pm, no problem. Only the hotel needs to know. In this case, you only need to inform the hotel. You can find the telephone number of the hotel in the reservation confirmation letter.

B. possible cost of non-arrival:

If you can't arrive at the hotel before 6 pm local time, you should make a reservation to ensure that the hotel keeps the room for that night. We call it "guaranteed reservation". If you fail to arrive at the hotel or cancel your reservation, according to international practice, the hotel has the right to charge for the room you booked. Most hotels will ask you to provide your credit card number to ensure a guaranteed reservation.
