Is it okay to open a homestay without going through the formalities in an individual apartment?

Generally speaking, it is necessary to apply for hygiene license, business license, tax registration certificate, special trade license, fire acceptance letter, food circulation license or catering service license to start a homestay. The required procedures are as follows:

1. The first thing you need to do to open a homestay is to apply for an industrial and commercial license from the local industrial and commercial department. Then I have to go to the security detachment of the local public security bureau to apply for a license to run a hotel.

2.B&B must have a perfect visitor registration system, a series of valuables registration systems, regular training for hotel employees, and relevant fire control procedures of the local fire brigade.

3. Before B&B starts business, it is necessary to go through the filing procedures for applying for hotel business. Whether it is a franchise or a part-time operation, it should be approved and filed according to law.

4. The application for the establishment of B&B shall be examined and approved by the local competent department, and B&B can start business only after obtaining the relevant business license. If the business is allowed, the change needs to be filed with the local public security bureau.

Legal basis:

Article 54 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment commits any of the following acts, and shall be detained for more than 10 and less than 15, and fined for more than 500 yuan 1000 yuan; If the circumstances are relatively minor, they shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than five hundred yuan:

(a) in violation of state regulations, without registration, in the name of social organizations, after being banned, they still carry out activities;

(two) the social organization whose registration has been revoked according to law still carries out activities in the name of social organizations;

(three) operating an industry that requires the permission of the public security organ in accordance with state regulations without permission.

The acts listed in the third paragraph shall be prohibited.

If an operator who has obtained the license from the public security organ violates the relevant provisions of the state and the circumstances are serious, the public security organ may revoke its license.
