Case hearing

On March 15, 2012, the Hefei Intermediate People’s Court heard the case publicly. Wang Jilun said that after strangling the victim to death, he gave him artificial respiration three times, but failed to revive him. He denied that he committed intentional homicide. On April 6, 2012, the verdict of the "Shushan New Village Corpse Dismemberment Case" was pronounced. Wang Jilun was guilty of intentional homicide and was sentenced to death. He was ordered to pay more than 380,000 yuan to the victim's family.
