It cost 70 billion yuan to build the tallest building in China. 12 years later, what now?
This uncompleted residential building, named Yin Gao 1 17, was invested by Yin Gao Real Estate and built by China Construction Third Bureau. The original intention of this building is very good. Yin Gao management believes that Tianjin has unique geographical advantages and will become the economic center of northern China in the future, so they want to build a landmark building in Tianjin, which is also moving towards the reputation of the tallest building in China.
Yin Gao 1 17, as the name implies, has 1 17 layers. The designer of this building is Li Huawu, a famous architect in the architectural field. The total floor height is 597 meters, and the ground floor area is 33,858 square meters. There are three basements at the bottom of the building, with the excavation area of 12. It is estimated that the total building area is 847,000 square meters, which is the highest in China in terms of structural height, single building area and the size of giant steel columns with steel structures.
The name and overall height of this building are also very particular, mainly related to the Book of Changes. In the Book of Changes, the odd number stands for "Yang" and the even number stands for "Yin". The total height of 1 17 is 597, and the mantissa "7" stands for "Shaoyang", which shows that the designer is here.
When the building was originally planned, the management and designers planned the first floor and the 92nd floor as Grade A office buildings, and from the 93rd floor, it was a luxury business hotel, including "the world's tallest swimming pool" and "the world's tallest revolving restaurant". If completed as planned, this building can accommodate 17590 people working in it at the same time, and it can have about 300 hotel rooms, so this building has attracted great attention from the beginning of its construction.
Did Yin Gao 1 17 hold a groundbreaking ceremony at the end of 2007, and then started construction in early 2008, and dug a foundation pit in 2009? According to the survey, the foundation pit of Yin Gao 1 17 building is almost as big as 18 football fields, which shows that it covers an area of 206,548.
However, the construction process of the building was not smooth. During the period, I experienced many problems such as work stoppage and lack of funds. It was not until 20 15 that its height reached 502.635 meters. Even so, it became the first skyscraper in northern China with an overall height of more than 500 meters.
Unfortunately, however, Yin Gao 1 17 was identified as a dangerous building, which had to be shut down for various reasons. Originally, the building was expected to be completed in 20 19, but now it has become the highest unfinished building in China. When the photographer observed the building through the drone, he found that many places were covered with weeds.
In addition, many steel structures have rusted due to lack of maintenance, but overall, they are still very shocking. However, it has been 12 years since the building was opened, and the investment in these years is as high as 70 billion. Now Yin Gao 1 17 Project Department has not completely abandoned this project, just don't know how it will end next.
